Starmer..what a joke on the world stage

Enjoy two tier Keir, while he precariously remains PM,until the 'shining light 'is removed from power:

Says the Daily mail 🤣

It's not really relevant here. Am I supposed to dislike businesses all over the country because of that? That seems pretty pointless.
My point is too many people doff their cap and say ahhh its business in a tone that implies that business is always right they need watching very closely as they often f---- up on an almighty scale, thank the heavens we have regulation etc that keeps an eye on their misdeeds.

No UK USA trade deal has been signed, you obviously missed that unimportant point.

On 8 May 2025, the UK and US announced an agreement in principle on an Economic Prosperity Deal, paving the way for renewed negotiations

Pesky facts eh
Please identify the deals struck by the Tories in the 8 years they held power post Brexit

Remember their mantra was getting Brexit done.

There was of course that back of a hanky deal struck with the Australians by Johnson that even Truss realised was a catastrophe and which the Ozzies are still laughing at..

Actually there is always the deal they stuck with India one of the great training nations...

Oh no hang on that was Labour too.i

We clearly see the true picture but sadly too many gullible people lap up the Tory press whilst digesting their cornflakes.Labour are righting the country for success.

Fair enough. It wasn't really regulations I was thinking about. I don't have many problems with proper regulation - as long as it is to protect customers. It was employee related tax contributions. Which charges more tax to an employer for having an employee. What will dastardly business do then? The answers are pretty obvious - but seemingly not to the government.
Where it is more expensive for a business to have staff, they will cut staff or not expand as expected. Or increase prices, or move somewhere else. Thus, business is down, the deficit is up, tax take is down, GDP is down, inflation rises and unemployment rises, welfare bill rises. I would gladly see different but it's not hard to predict how things will pan out currently.
Labour could, for instance, incentivise employment and offer a wage subsidy to small businesses, plus perhaps offer tax breaks for inward investment. They're free to do since Brexit depending on the EU deal. If they want real Labour policies then perhaps pay people their disability benefits for maybe two years whilst working. Get people off of welfare.
Instead cutting benefits, then reversing most of the cuts is their policy. What is that going to achieve? Were the elderly going to go out to work to make up for lost fuel payments? Were disability payment people rushing to get jobs because Labour is threatening them? Somehow this will help? No - it won't. Attacking the most vulnerable and given a free pass - plus no ideas at all. Great. Let's see what else they can come up with. Perhaps one of them can complete The Sun cryptic crossword but they're not coming up with much hope for the future.
But, yes, they're not Tory.

🤣🤣 and I was happy Tories were voted out but your last sentence is laughable. Lammy as Foreign Sec 😳

So how do you view Distillers company and thalidimide deformities? There is a list as long as your arm where companies have tried for a quick buck and caused major health hazards.
Other examples are available Deep water horizon ,Post Office . I can think of loads more business failures or crime.

Allegedly They did give 11 billion to the RMT or railways generally. That might have come in handy
Oh, allegedly. That old chestnut. If you refer to what it cost to get the railways back to running again without to many cancellations and disputes, and giving a decent service, then yes money has been invested in the rail system not a gift, invested. You said they have done nothing. ,it desperately needed it. Just as so many of the the Tory failures, need refinancing, nationally or privately . Prisons, water, the courts, Police, good old NHS, there are plenty more. The reason these all suffer is because for far to long the Tory view was investing in any of these was a waste of money. Often wonder where the proceeds of their stringent economies actually went.

Michelle Mone pocketed it for dodgy PPE.

The railways are now worse after the RMT got their gift of tax payers money, that laBORE gave them. Now, before you ask me to provide you with examples (typical lefty response) how about, YOU, finding out.
