Reform

OK, I get all that.

All I would say is that it is very easy to establish a theory and then fit the facts in such a way that appears to prove it.

I suppose we will all find out when the nation decides again.

My concern is that Reform will split the right wing vote and allow Labour back in.
The Tories have become the third party. I don't see how your scenario makes much sense for them.

I get your point about the theory but I put this to you.

Tommy Robinson has been charged with not divulging his pin-number for his phone. That is a nailed on win for the state. And for a man who has had numerous devices siezed in the past, and happily given his PIN number then, why this sudden change of heart. Its a nailed on conviction. And no doubt another jail sentence.

And Farage. Why do what they did to Lowe? Why would you deliberately scupper a man who was driving a huge increase in support?

Why are both men deliberately acting in a manner that harms the causes they claim to support.

As to the Tories, well the current chatter on the Far/Dissident Right seems to be about Lowe perhaps joining the Tories. With Jenrick seemingly due to replace Kemi in a matter of months.

This is the point. We had a Tory Government for 14 years. In those 14 years, we have had record immigration. Both legal and illegal. With the former dwarfing the later.

There is no voting our way out of this s***.

I think we have to try.

Zia Yusuf was a high flyer at Goldman Sachs, IMO people who reach such heights are generally very clever, hard working and don't suffer fools gladly.

If he gets stuck into Reform's DOGE ideas I think this will suit his analytical nature and hopefully give him a platform in the media to highlight any successes.

Amusing that all those who went down the " he was the only good one in Reform " route now look a bit silly as he's back and they have to own that Reform have a good person.

I don't think it likely that Robinson giving them his PIN number or not would have stopped the Police for framing him again. The guy's emotional and sometimes does and says unwise stuff. His just an average civic nationalist kind of bloke from what I can tell, just with more balls than most.

They are out for him and will use anything....They are out for him similar to how the Democrats were out for Trump. Any little thing they wouldn't bother with for others they go full force for him.

You seem to think he's up for the jail time. But personally I don't see the advantage for him compared to be free on the streets doing his propaganda.

Don't get me wrong, there are several issues with Robinson but on his basic premise, he's always been right in my view. And I think the establishment know he's only going to get more popular as the demographics change, no matter what they do....unless he dies of course.

It doesn't even really matter that much. If it wasn't Robinson it would be someone else....and Robinson is a useful figurehead in a way, because they are forced to lie and half truth about him and because social media exists that erodes trust over time with an increasing number of people.

The one thing you can say for Reform is that they don't actively hate you, unlike the current lot and uniparty. If they get into power they will be spending most of the time dealing with the near totally activist institutions and civil service. It'll be something to watch.

And Farage. Why do what they did to Lowe? Why would you deliberately scupper a man who was driving a huge increase in support?

Because they aren't us.....Farage was always a Thatcherite and he's bright enough to know that now....after Johnson's massive immigration decision after Brexit (plus inevitable economic decline/massive tax burden)....Now is the time for him to go for power.

He's a marmite character but he's looked at and now copied the Le Penn model of moving left enough to gain centralists and traditional Labour northern voters (non progressives). He knows that the likes of us have no where else to go politcally.....He's taking a chance with Lowe and Habib though....no question.

Personally I think the time for the real right isn't now, it's after the next election...whoever wins really.

Even then we don't have to win anything, but just be a cohesive group until the social liberals/Thatcherites inevitably reign over the increasing decline.....In my view It's baked in, it doesn't really matter who takes charge. It's fiddling around the edges, maybe good policies can delay stuff but 2008 and covid fecked us.

As to the Tories, well the current chatter on the Far/Dissident Right seems to be about Lowe perhaps joining the Tories. With Jenrick seemingly due to replace Kemi in a matter of months.

I can see Jenrick taking over but the Tories are too much of a socially liberal party to stomach Lowe.....Even Jenrick will be too much for many of them.

This is the point. We had a Tory Government for 14 years. In those 14 years, we have had record immigration. Both legal and illegal. With the former dwarfing the later.

I agree there is no voting our way out....if women didn't vote the whole political landscape would be different but hey ho.

It doesn't mean you don't vote though even if it's just for the sh1ts and giggles.

It's just a question of how long they can hold off economic collapse....even if they can delay it for another ten years (mainly based on how America does), it's coming eventually though and when it does it won't be pretty because they won't be able to borrow to keep the welfare state going....and then it'll be up for grabs amongst many.

And the gate kept socially liberal establishment (mainly intelligence) know it.....which is partly why they oppress any native identity so much whilst having double standards for every other and become increasingly authoritarian and obvious. They focus on us because natives will still be in the majority when it all goes to crap and they plan on still remaining in power.....Even though it's the same system that caused the mess in the first place.....You just won't have the freedoms that the west was built on....as in Soviet times the only people who will really be free will be those with power.

It's part of the reason they are building three new prisons, but it won't be enough once the welfare system collapses.

And this idea that their real problem will come from the likes of us is also amusing.....they should perhaps take a look at California right now. But they are trapped by group think....because the like minded employ the like minded.

The ‘dissident’ right wing Adrian Mole in a nutshell this post, beautiful. Absolute word salad of far right ramblings.

The highlight has to be the bold bit though: ‘if women didn't vote the whole political landscape would be different but hey ho’.

Incredible scenes.

Never mind what men say lad, go buy yourself a soy latte.

Apparently you were threatening to leave the site.....Instead we just get this weird hate watching.

I’ll add ‘women’ to the DR list of groups of people to blame for all your issues.

Anyone but yourselves.

I'm not sure how the DR are responsible for the state of the country but whatever.

I know progressives aren't fond of statistics that don't back up their fantasies but women have always voted majority left compared to men....like minority groups and feminine minded males like yourself.

It’s a shame their opinion is equally as valid as a man’s, isn’t it?

I hope you are correct. My criticism of Musk and Trump was their slash and burn and lack of empathy for the people losing their jobs. It is therefore easy for unions and Dems to virtue signal that Doge is appalling and wrong.

Actually a lot, but not all of that Musk did, was actually good identifying irresponsible spending that was not being properly monitored by Congress. It was the execution rather that was wrong.

Reform can do a similar job over here but they need to present it better and force their critics to justify to the public why wasting money is a good idea, rather than attacking heartless Trump / Musk wannabbes.

Wasted USAid mon ey example, you couldn't make it up, Pythonesque and Stewart bitch whining cos his family coffers lost a million quid or so

The charity which Rory Stewart’s Wife works for which has just has its funding cut because of the end of USAID - The Turquiose Mountain Foundation - is the same charity that used to run classes teaching ‘liberated’ Afghan women about Duchamp’s urinal and conceptual art

Their website is here for people to decide for themselves if what they are doing is Actually Quite Good.

Never mind the way women vote, (Which they are allowed to in 2025), your own slip is showing!

The massive post at 4.58 will go down in HoL history.

Identifying and eliminating waste is always a good thing irrespective of your political views. It must be done very carefully though by people who truly understand the area involved. Cutting off your feet whilst sitting down might seem like a good idea until you try to stand up.

That’s the problem with Musk and would be with Reform, should they ever actually hold any responsibility. They don’t have the people. They just have activists. We are already witnessing this in areas where they hold majorities on Councils. They cannot get anything done because of a lack of experience. It’s happening here in a Cornwall.

Deserves its own place in Gold Talk all by itself.

It's their choice. Can you tell us what it would mean if a government systematically removed those who weren't going to vote for them? What do we call that?

Earlier you talked about vote leave being a majority for years but you didn't seem to complain that expats living in the EU were denied a say in it

Imagine the Dissident Right utopia we’d have in this country if it wasn’t for those pesky wimmin.
