Some on HOL might recall the 'Redifussion' and 'DER' television shops.
Those were the days of a circular or V-Shaped aerial perched on top of the Television set and on occasions one had to move them about for a better signal.

Our aerial had a clothes peg on it. No idea why but it must have done something. Hope so anyway.Before video recorders and sky boxes and all the other paraphernalia that goes under TV’s these days, when I was a kid the dog used to lay under the TV and we soon realised that when he did we got a better picture on our TV and we didn’t have to move the aerial around…..so we put his bed under there 🤣 those were the days!! 🤣
