Ismaïla Sarr

To bring a smile to your face, check out Olise’s goal against Belgium last night. I still feel absurdly proud that he played for us. Close run thing between him and Ian Wright for best ever Palace player.
Yea i watched it last night , he scored a great goal . i think the difference between Wright and Olise is Wright was a great goal scorer and Olise is a scorer of great goals .

Sarr seems to be with the Senegal squad but has not been playing.
This may indicate that he remains unfit.
If this is the case, I wonder why he's not receiving treatment or recuperating at the club.
I believe he was not eligible to play (certainly the first match) because of his involvement in the final earlier in the year.

Might be wrong though!

I’d love to agree with you but when players leave Palace they’re dead to me. It’s only years after they’ve finished that I look back fondly on Peter Taylor, Kenny Sansom, Ian Wright and no doubt one day Eze and Olise…

Poor Eze, 4 substitute appearances this season, 88 minutes in total. Gone from being the superstar in our team to warming the Arsenal bench. Yes, I can see Arsenal shipping him on at the end of the season, hopefully back to us.

No thanks, he'd be a shadow. Let's find the next diamond they want to pay 65m for

Re Sarr ; another example of Liverpool trying to bully a smaller club into parting with an asset.

Coming in late in a transfer window with a low bid....sound familiar ?

Palace are then left with the headache of managing a player that has just seen a ' dream ' move not materialise through no fault of their own.

If this eventually sinks in with Sarr and his odious agent, then it's to be hoped Sarr gets his act together. If he still wants a move then the best way to get one is to re-apply himself and start performing for Palace.
That is basically what Liverpool did and they tried with Guehi too! Let’s not forget Liverpool have got form for it, they basically rapped Southampton doing this kind of s***!

Interesting, I still enjoyed seeing our ex players play even for other sides but not as much as Olise as he is probably our best ever playing along with Ian Wright.

I generally like to see our ex-players do well and especially those who've come through the Academy (or who were bought as teenagers but been sold; players like Rob Street, David Ozoh, Danny Imray, Sean Grehan, Jo Whitworth, Malachi Boateng being recent examples).

Broadly I like to see them well, but for me it does kinda depend where they go and how.

Guehi, wish him nothing but the best

Eze still annoyed about him calling up Artea begging to be signed. I dont hate him, but kinda ok with him not getting played

But he was gonna go spurs anyway so wanted to tell arteta, whom he had talks with earlier in the summer, that it was last chance of signing him.
