Because this is what my ultimate dream is. Democracy is the problem. Not the solution.

Th EU started as a trading block. That is what we joined. The price for being a member was too high. The landscape changed.

Notice how the politicians are dropping 'well brexit has damaged us' into routine conversations.

Cannot believe I agree with you. BUT, I want the non western foreigners all gone and uphold our hard won and mature traditional cultures. You want everything destroyed

The commission only propose and adjust laws on request, they don't implement them, they basically just do the paperwork. It's the ELECTED parliament that choose.

Farage used you as an MEP, he only wanted UK Parliament and power, he would've done us more good actually driving policy changes inside the block. He was lucky to be there thanks to the s*** open system the UK used to elect MEPs, where about 20% turnout got him in, the electorate aren't interested in EU elections. It should've been PR based on domestic results and that would represent the people.

It's not as you describe it at all. The Commission propose and frame all laws. The EU Parliament and its elected 'representatives' have no power whatsoever to propose or frame EU laws.
