Sage is sage

Perhaps their judgement is based on the signings and the overall squads of A.Villa and Tottenham and that both their managers are experienced, particularly in the PL.
Emery of course has had successes in Europe and has won 'Ligue 1' with PSG.
In other words they didnt do there homework , just went by the fact there Premier managers , lazy reporting

Every manager needs 6 transfer windows to create the squad they want and implement their plans. Unfortunately you don't get that time in the prem, if we're in the bottom 3 at Christmas he will be sacked, if we start falling behind like wolves he will be sacked. If not, id like the club to stick with him, if we are hovering above the relegation zone then they need to back him in jan.

It would be interesting which team twists early as there a few good unemployed managers about. Dyche, Frank and Howe.

Wow!!
What a difference Lampard has made to Coventry. No thanks.
Think we need a proven relegation fighter ,after the next three games, all of which we could lose,to help get us out of this mess.
Dyche is the man!!

When Lampard 'Took up the reins' at Coventry the season before last they were 17th after 17 League games. They finished in 5th place.
Last season Coventry were promoted to the PL after ending the season as Champions.
He has 'Credit in the bank' at Coventry.

Dropping Canvot from the matchday said was a dreadful decision.
He is going to become a great player and that is no way to treat him.
There are other mutterings of discontent and I do not expect Sage to last long

If he can sprinkle his defense attributes to the team and make us solid at the back then I'm sure the attackers take care of themselves.

I have been quizzed about this only recently.
In the final analysis given the churn of players and the situation relating to Mateta and Sarr I have had the belief that this season would be a 'Slow burner' and that there was every chance that Sage would not 'Hit the ground running'.
We have only played 4 PL games, hopefully gloom will give way to sunshine sooner rather than later.

Sage said he spoke to Parish earlier in the week re Canvot and explained the reasons for him being left out and this was accepted.
In other words, no issue.
Sarr and Nketiah are both back tomorrow.
Sage says Sarr has put the issue behind him and will now focus on the season.

A positive press conference which will hopefully be followed by positive performances.
