Daniel Munoz

£22 Million for a 30 year old whose 'Star' has dimmed in recent months would represent sound business as far as I am concerned.
I wish I saw the world the way you do. How you do not let feelings get in and just see the correct business decision. Bravo.

Me on the other hand. Forest, the Fat Man and the turn coat can f*** off. I am sorry I do not have a more eloquent way of putting it for you as I know you are a man of fine words. But as Billy Connolly once said... nothing beats f*** off when it matters.

This is so kind of you however I am no match for the rhetorical panache of others who grace HOL with their wit, wisdom and insight. They are deserving of praise not 'Yours Truly', however I am gratified for your generous sentiments.

I think if Forest wants him, then Parish at least needs to make them pay clearly over what he's worth. Say £35 million. Or, more amusingly, accept a lower offer from a different club. Or string them along until they don't have time to get a decent alternative.

Danny has given us so much joy since he arrived, so I wouldn't begrudge him a move to a big club, but not to a club which has been less successful than us over the last 40 years.

There are more important things in the world than money. F*cking with your enemies is definitely one of them.

I have to say I admire and fully support this level of pettiness and vindictive grudge holding. It’s the true meaning of football.

If there is a genuine decent offer on the table for Munoz, what then is in the club's favour in retaining the player when it has brought in a ready made replacement and back-up (at cost)?

From Glasner's presser:

Nottingham Forest boss Oliver Glasner on potentially signing Daniel Munoz from Crystal Palace: "No comments on any names. When the ink is dry, you will be informed."

On whether Forest are close to making a deal with a new player: "That's what I have heard, yes."

True, but personally, I wouldn't do business with someone who was suing me. I'd get them to drop the case and then do business. It's how life works and I feel Marinakis could do with some real life lessons.

"If they don't sign enough players then they have let us all down. I'm almost feeling abandoned. Give it a week or two and we'll see. "

Unless Forrest are offering lots of money what does Munoz have to gain by going to forest?

Marinakis will definitely be offering him more money and he gets to re-unite with Glasner so he knows he’s going to be first choice right wing back for a manager and a system he knows inside out. That’s a nice position to be in for the foreseeable.

If they are that keen on this signing, would think that we hold all the cards and a sale price of at least £25m should be negotiated.

I still hate the fact we are doing any sort of business with Forest.......
I'd be happier if he went to Brighton to be honest.

We desperately need more signings, but I just don't think it will happen. So far I've been a tad underwhelmed.

I think it's going to be a stressful season.... but hey, whats new?

We should do no business with Forest. Full stop.
