For some reason, the powers that be allowed Bosman then capped spending by clubs and created a monopoly for the top 6 premiership clubs. Even Newcastle and Aston Villa are compromised by these rules. It feels like the powers that be want to io maintain the status quo and keep the big 6 teams powerful. Now players disrespect long term contracts, and frankly I feel sorry for us, Aston Villa and Newcastle having our best players poached while players go on strike. The game needs to change to correct this.

The 3 clubs you have mentioned have not won a trophy we have 3 and the ZDS 🫣, they have been relegated from the prem in resent times so they have been lucky , see how they get on now in Europe and lge this season . Brighton may find things tougher
If you want to create a level playing field in football the only viable way would be to introduce a salary cap like in the NFL.
Challenge you’ve got is it would need to be Europe wide otherwise all the talent playing in England would just move abroad. You’d also potentially have to work out how it worked with lower leagues.
