Frightening spectre in football

For some reason, the powers that be allowed Bosman then capped spending by clubs and created a monopoly for the top 6 premiership clubs. Even Newcastle and Aston Villa are compromised by these rules. It feels like the powers that be want to io maintain the status quo and keep the big 6 teams powerful. Now players disrespect long term contracts, and frankly I feel sorry for us, Aston Villa and Newcastle having our best players poached while players go on strike. The game needs to change to correct this.

Yes it needs a massive overall from top to bottom , or lets all watch tiddly winks 😢

Yes. It's greed, greed, greed. Why don't we just let Liverpool,Arsenal, Citeh, Chelsea, Utd, Spurs, take their pick of whichever of our players they would like?

The only alternative is to copy the business model of clubs beginning with 'B' in the Premiership. You have to take your hat off to these clubs, unpalatable as that will be for some. They identify raw talent, coach it and sell it on- in Brighton's case, generally to Chelsea for £70m.per player. And the managers of these teams just accept it and get on with it without throwing all the toys out of the pram Glasner -style.
