My guess is the club want Iraola and he wont commit til he knows we have Europa League football next year which is reasonable. If after Wednesday Iraola still wont commit then I'd expect Palace to move onto no.2 and maybe 3 on the list. For now, we have time so why the hysteria? Frankly I dont really care if Bournemouth have a new guy lined up. As for Chelsea they currently dont have a manager so of course they are going to move quicker than us to calm the dressing room. City have not announced any replacement for Pep that I am aware of so I dont even know why they were mentioned

Liverpool are reported to be interested and that as Lanzo has said ends any speculation. We need to move on and see who actually wants to come here sadly will be a short list, has Razor Ruddock stopped advertising diet pills yet?

I never bought the Iraola connection unless his overriding desire was to work in London. Arsenal, Spurs, Brentford and Chelsea are out of the question and West Ham will either go down or stick with Santo (probably). That leaves comparable squads at Fulham (a nicer area to live in) and Palace(who may offer Europa)
I'm anticipating a less desired outcome
 
The Spanish media are saying Marcelino Toral has the choice of Palace or Roma, as he is leaving Villareal, even though they are in the Champions League, because he wants to manage in the Premier League.

What about picking up a discarded and bruised Arne Slot on a free, in that scenario?

Or are we still having too many flashbacks from the last Dutchman to grace the bench?
