Iran

Very predictably as I said at the time Trump always backs down and yes it has happened again. He has quit and taken his toys back to the nursery in a huff.
Iran has called it fake news to manipulate the oil markets by Trump , Far from clear what’s happening TBH but no talks have taken place or planned today between US and Iran .

Iran has called it Trump fake news to manipulate the oil markets , Far from clear what’s happening TBH as usual ..
It is crystal ( pardon the pun) clear that Trump needs a deal badly, Iran are far more indecipherable as they need to talk big to their own people and talk tough to the West their big wish is to just have Israel to deal with and not a multitude of enemies.

the rudeness and unwarranted personal abuse made 'ignore' a reluctant, but effective choice
It's good that the hostilities are now subsiding. However, not for Israel, who continue their killing and theft of land relentlessly.
First on my hit list a very monotone type of posting only one argument but on repeat rather like Max Headroom, I thought it might be a bot but they are quite clever.

If I worked at an Iranian power plant , I would still be tempted to go sick for the next week ..

Still going with the ‘Jew hatred’ - shameless stuff from someone clearly devoid of any serious argument.

I get it; the world is just Team A vs Team B to you. Nice and simple, like you’re a 9-year old watching Lord of the Rings for the first time - just pick a side and cheer.

Real world conflicts aren’t typically that simple, and reducing them to the kind of binary thinking you do just avoids having to actually engage your brain.
You can always judge a poster by the people who like his posts.
There is nothing simple about global politics, but there are some unavoidable realities.

One of those is that we are beholden to the United States irrespective of its President. I, for one, am very happy to be aligned with the most powerful military force on Earth.

You, on the other hand, better go and buy a prayer mat. If you haven't already got one.

It was his unprovoked rudeness and personal attacks to avoid direct engagement on any facts,
Playing the victim. Straight out of the lefty playbook.

I know you believe in the law of the jungle and all, but it is amusing that even established facts about ongoing court cases seem to trigger you.
Why would I be triggered. I'm not an Israeli.

There is no justice. There is only politics. And do you really think that Netanyahu cares about this crap?

More like a 9 year old with a behavioural disorder.

I think it might be time to put him on ignore so the adults can have a sensible discussion.
I thought you already did that once but be my guest. You say nothing of consequence anyway.

Back to Iran, more odd news in that Trump has postponed the obliteration of Iran power plants following talks that Iran says haven’t happened!
Whatever the truth, a deescalation is good news. I’m sure we will see plenty of spin during the course of today about who said what etc.

The thread is Iran, but it's almost impossible to take that completely in isolation.
Their conflict is primarily with Israel and is inexorably intertwined with the wider instability in the Middle East, particularly Palestine and Lebanon. The build-up, provocations and wider agendas that have led to the current Iran war are all important contexts.

So bizarre that we don't know who to believe, whether talks have even taken place, let alone what was agreed or discussed. Very 2026.

As ever, you are conflating Jews with Israel, something I was always taught is anti semitic.

There is a further level of insidious conflation if you add Zionism into the mix.

Critics of zionism aren't necessarily even opposing Israel (just its current regime), let alone Jews as a whole.

It's like saying critics of Starmer hate white people.

Not a great example. It’s more likely to be the opposite of that.

Back to what’s actually happening in Iran , The Kurds haven’t sparked the rebellion that was muted in the early days of the war , Assume regime change from within is dead in the water ?
If Trump caves in and there is no regime change I would class it as defeat for the US , Israel will likely plough on given they have invested so much military ordinance and money into the fight.
The talks are doomed to failure without Israel agreeing to peace which is highly unlikely IMO ..

Did they interview you here?

He's a muslim btw....

You’ve already been taken apart on this exact point on this thread.

Obviously you scuttled off back to the safe space of your YouTube algorithm to reassure yourself, rather than actually engage with a debate here. Bless.

Yes, he is a Muslim. A Muslim who’s worked out he can make lots of money performing for the right online - it’s not a new gimmick, and it’s certainly not convincing.

Most on the far-left hate white people even though many of them are white themselves.

?
Obviously critics of Starmer don't hate all white people - that's the whole point!
It is an example of a ridiculous conflation.

It is similarly as ridiculous to suggest that critics of Netanyahu hate all Jews
