Iran

Back to what’s actually happening in Iran , The Kurds haven’t sparked the rebellion that was muted in the early days of the war , Assume regime change from within is dead in the water ?
If Trump caves in and there is no regime change I would class it as defeat for the US , Israel will likely plough on given they have invested so much military ordinance and money into the fight.
The talks are doomed to failure without Israel agreeing to peace which is highly unlikely IMO ..

The Israeli/Trump intervention made Iranian regime change less likely in my opinion.

I know this site loves a good WW2 analogy. It's like how Russians rallied around Stalin when the Axis invaded in 1941.
The Iranian regime can now label all dissidents pro-Zionist, which goes down like a bag of sick in the Muslim world.

But I'm not convinced many really care about the Kurds or other dissidents. They just want to smash Iran to further the Greater Israel project.

What you need to understand is that the US have been very careful hit strategic targets and send a message to the Iran leadership.
The Iranian military has been smashed and their threat massively reduced. The same with Hamas.
The US could keep doing this month after month.

I would prefer to do a complete job on Iran, but I'm sure you will be happy with some kind of deal if that is what is really happening. If it is, it is only because Trump has his foot on Iran's neck. Despite all the usual critics, Trump had a plan. The plan was to do massive damage to Iran's military in a short space of time and force them to negotiate.

Israel is a single Jewish nation surrounded by enemies who want to erase it. It's very existence is due to the murder of 6 million Jews. It now has a leader who isn't just going to play the victim any more. Israel is a key ally in the region against our real enemy, Islamism.
For some reason, people like you think that Israel should just sit back and absorb all the attacks, love their neighbours and have no ambition to expand its relatively small territory or even defend itself.

They are the enemy of our enemy. Their actions aren't always very palatable, but their enemies are equally ruthless if not more so.

People like you want to bang on about genocide. The irony couldn't be greater.

Did they interview you here?

He's a muslim btw....

None of those people gave a decent or coherent answer. I suspect he cherry-picked the biggest idiots he met, and edited out the sensible answers.

Obvious answers include:

1) Invasions of foreign territory attract far more international attention than internal protests. This explains why the west felt justified in intervening against Serbia because their troops were in Bosnia, but didn't fell compelled to intervene into internal protests in neighbouring Romania. See also Russia/Ukraine vs internal protests in many countries.
Israel is invading Palestine. Iran is an internal protest. Big difference.

2) People protest when they feel their own government is acting unethically, because as tax payers they feel complicit. The UK was clearly aiding and supplying Israel, but not Iran. They feel able to influence the former but not the latter. Another big difference.

There are other clear differences, but I have to go

You’ve already been taken apart on this exact point on this thread.

Obviously you scuttled off back to the safe space of your YouTube algorithm to reassure yourself, rather than actually engage with a debate here. Bless.

Yes, he is a Muslim. A Muslim who’s worked out he can make lots of money performing for the right online - it’s not a new gimmick, and it’s certainly not convincing.

Right. So people who stick up for the Jews are in it for financial clicks. You can't even concede the point he makes, you'd prefer Iranian victory at the expense of Palestinian deaths going forward, because TDS, because Jew.

My safe space is to lock my phone away as per the stringent rules on working in defence fyi

There is no answer to what he was asking, because he's right.

Refute it, or shut up.

f*** me you’re utterly obsessed with Jews, and you’re AGAIN conflating the term with the state of Israel - the terms ‘Israel’ and ‘the Jews’ are not interchangeable, no matter how many times you do it.

Lots of people make content online for money - hopefully that’s not too complicated to understand. If you can present an alternative or ‘unexpected’ view, ie. a black guy parroting racist talking points, or an immigrant supporting anti-immigrant talking points, you are very well positioned to see that content take off. It doesn’t make that content more convincing unless you’re seriously lacking in brain power.

I don’t want a bloody Iranian victory - I want us to stay the hell out of it and I don’t want my bank balance taking a battering. Whatever other fantasy algorithm man you’re arguing against in your head is not relevant.

Do you work in defence? You’ve never mentioned it 🤣

He has a few times tbh.

There is no answer to what he was asking, because he's right.

Refute it, or shut up.

Quite the enlightened, philosophical debater, this one.
We're right so shut up 🤣
You sound about 5 years old. Did you stick your tongue out when you typed that?

So is Trump like hitler and a Nazi or his he Jewish / Israel brown noser? He can't be both.....right? 🤔

I don't think he is like either.

But he does seem be 'strongly influenced' by Israel in a way at odd with many of the principles he campaigned on.
Plus he is wildly unpredictable.
