Next Manager?

Would like a manager with some longevity. Frank does fit the bill. He has had a shot at a supposed bigger club and it hasn't worked. Laid good foundations at Brentford where Andrews has continued well. Left there with the club in good shape. Southgate may be in a similar vein and may well get the nod due to his Palace ties, although I feel Frank would be better as he has shown more in club roles than internationally.

I think Frank is a bit ordinary and I think as a fan base we'd get bored fairly quickly. Don't think Johnson would be too happy either considering Frank froze him out at Spurs... Though saying that if Johnson continues to play the way he has then he'll be lucky to get a look in with any manager.

Southgate should be no where near the management position. He proved tactically inept with a talented squad against some pretty lowly opposition. Our squad is not as talented and our opponents are a lot better, so that's a big no from me.

Dyche if he will sign is the obvious choice . Sack Glasner , His substitutions the other day were bizarre , I don’t think I would want him in charge if relegation came down to the last game of the season ..

I think, perhaps for the first time, the criteria upon which the new manager should be decided is whether he has a clear plan, possibly already proven to work elsewhere, to get value from the expensive group of forwards we have already bought.

Mateta possibly aside, those players aren't likely to be bought by anyone, certainly not for anything close to what we paid for them. I can't imagine there is much money left now to bring in anyone new, so a tune must be gotten from some combination of Larsen, Nketiah, Pino, Johnson, Sarr, possibly Guessand, maybe even Esse.

That suggests a front 3, perhaps with two wide and one central, rather than the current system.

The guy at Bournemouth would be my clear preference, just on the above basis alone.
Bournemouth in a much better position than us in the league at the moment and more than likely at the end of the season so can't see us poaching Iraola. Either a manager who has never been in the PL like OG or somebody who has managed a similar club and done well but not in employment like Frank seems more realistic.
