I’m not sure that is true. There is doubt as to whether the swiping in and out system was working correctly and that the data was read correctlyDid you not see the table which noted that ALL deaths were whilst she was on the ward?
I actually agree with Steeley. The forensic evidence was destroyed almost immediatelyHe is as guilty as hell. A good indication of this is that Steeleye thinks he is innocent.
Were you? Were you in the court then?
Bamber Gascoingne asked too many questions.I actually agree with Steeley. The forensic evidence was destroyed almost immediately
, why? The police officer who had doubts about Bambers guilt died after falling off a ladder. One of the main prosecution witnesses was a cousin, who inherited the family wealth and suggestions that she was having an affair with the lead detective. My wife’s grandmother lived in the same village and followed the case very closely, she attended the family’s funerals, she didn’t like Bamber but believed he was innocent.
He has been a model prisoner from day 1, has had several appeals refused, why? He has now served 40 years, with no inkling of parole, why? I believe there has been a massive cover up, whether that be because of police incompetence or some other reason.
White House Farm still exists on the outskirts of Tolleshunt D’Arcy, it has a large “private property, keep out” at the entrance of the drivewayCorrect- White House farm. Very good series.

There ought to be a retrial. Multiple infant fatalities when she was not present. Self appointed "expert" witness. Can't pin these other deaths on her. Something is amiss.![]()
Lucy Letby will not face further criminal charges
Former nurse Lucy Letby is serving 15 whole-life terms for murder and attempted murder.www.bbc.co.uk
Think this will disappoint a few. Didn’t meet the evidential requirement. If this is the same evidence as why she’s inside questions need asking surely.

So I’m not saying she is innocent before that barrage but it appears babies died when she wasn’t on duty and many have died since. Could it be that s*** happened and there had to be a reason. We all die and sadly some babies die as well.

Maybe in a civil case she might have been convicted, as the evidential threshold is less. A "more likely than not" threshold.
In criminal cases, it is "Beyond all reasonable doubt".
My questions are , why when things were suspected by management, weren't sufficient safety measures put in place to limit , or identify, why these deaths were happening ?
i think it was mentioned in the trial that the hospital wasn't meeting general hygiene standards, or it's records weren't maintained.
The number of deaths after initial concerns were raised by staff, is alarming. That IF it was Letby, she was allowed to continue with her role, unrestricted.
That said, statistics are curious things. Sometimes they just throw weird figures out. Sometimes infants just die (I think it used to be called Cot Death)
I think the prosecution case is as poor as her defence team was. I'm not saying she's not guilty. It's how we got 'guilty' has huge deficiencies, and IMO doesn't meet the threshold for a criminal conviction.

No, there are huge gaps in my knowledge of the case. My opinions have been formed by media reporting on the trial. I am as much an expert on law, as I am on football.Have you read The Thirlwall Enquiry Report?

Quite correct,I thought the final report hadn't been published yet?

Apart from 1 nurse !!!Quite correct,
This is the latest status of the report:
"The Inquiry has written to Core Participants with an update on the timetable for the final report. Work on the report is ongoing, and publication is scheduled for after Easter 2026.
A further update on the timetable will be provided at the end of February 2026."
And excuse the often suspicious nature of my posts in relation to Enquiries. This should give Senior Managers time to conclude taking their early pensions, for ward staff to be promoted out of the way, and for the findings to conclude "things could have been done a whole lot better, but no-one is accountable"
