In the second half yesterday, Hughes, clearly frustrated, took a shot that was so wayward Henderson almost had to save it, but because it didn’t seem to fit the supposed system, Glasner went ballistic. A player takes responsibility and shoots when no one else is, and the manager loses it. The players look confused about what they are and aren’t allowed to do, with no real decision-making permitted on the pitch. Paddy looked confused in the dugout as Glasner continued his rant. Meanwhile, Glasner appears content with endless sideways passing, with no real intent to penetrate the opposition defence. Then he has the audacity to tell us the positives like he’s trying to brain wash us!
I didn’t boo or abuse Glasner against Chelsea last week when he walked out with an exaggerated wave and smile, however, I refused to applaud him and I won’t at the next home game if he is still here.
For me, it’s definitely time for him to go.
