This isn't just a dodgy run of form or 'any issue' though, it's clearly much more than that.

If he wanted to stay at the club and sign a new deal, I think 99% of the fans would be completely supportive regardless of the bad run.

However, this is ten games without a win including a couple of shocking results. It's a refusal to adapt his system despite mounting evidence that it simply doesn't work without Munoz. It's repeatedly criticising the owners publicly. Announcing that he's leaving the club the day before a game despite criticising the board for the Guehi timing being a destabilising factor.

My ideal outcome here is that they patch it up and he stays. But it feels like at the moment he is almost trying to force an early exit and, if so, I don't think it is unreasonable for fans to feel pissed off.

We are within our rights to want people at the club who want to be here and, frankly, at the moment it seems pretty clear that him and Mateta want out which is very disappointing.

Also that he's been quite blase about his contract situation, talking about it not being the right time to discuss anything when he'd already decided in October. If he'd just said then he was leaving It would have been disappointing but now it just feels as though he's been mugging us off for the last few months.

I agree to some extent but I think we owe him a level of respect in view of what he has given us. I dont really care if anyone else agrees with that. Its how I feel. He made me a grow man burst into tears at the final whistle when I laughed off the possibility before the game.
I will never forget that moment. Oliver Glasner gave us that. No one else. The players would not have achieved it without his tactics and direction.

I just don't feel that as strongly.

He's paid millions and fans make a club, because without them no player takes the field nor manager supervise them.

So it's great he did well for us, but that's what he's paid to do.....Each season is anew.....and he's buggering off, just as predicted.

Agree OG gave us in 2024/5 the best period - certainly I recall - in Palaces history and if we still somehow win the Conference League we can add 2026 to that list .That and a mid table finish will then make this another good year. Thanks OG for all that. Now thanks and goodbye. August 2026 we start again!

He has three times since Saturdays game stated he will not quit and will stay and fight with his players he has so much respect for. Dont you think its a bit hypocritical to say 'at the first sign of adversity he throws his arms up...' when at the first sign of our most successful manager ever showing signs he is unhappy with the owners and you want him gone? Loyalty cuts both ways and he has not said he wants to leave.
In my opinion I think he IS happy to stay but now its common knowledge he will be leaving in the summer he (rightly or wrongly) feels he can now say what he likes. This attitude really hurts his own career more than it hurts anyone else.
Man United (who are reported to be keen on him) sacked Amorim for this exact type of open criticism of the owners. I doubt they'd have been too impressed.

He obviously has a desire to remain popular whilst doing unpopular things,he knows he has treated the fans support in a shabby fashion. The king is dead long live the king. The new manager should be appointed very soon for several very good reasons.

Yes I understand that this could be interpreted as 'I dont care (if they sack me)' so I suppose I offer a part apology on that but I really dont think that was what he was saying at all. In my opinion, and trying to take a slight language barrier into account-English not being his first language I took him to mean 'I dont care (if it upsets people that I speak my mind) which to me is completely different to saying I dont care if you sack me.
But I'm willing to concede if others also are that none of us truly know what he meant.

I’ll tell you what he didn’t say, he didn’t say well it’s tough at the moment, we’ve got a lot of players out, we’re still developing some of the squad, it’s hard work for the ones playing every game, but I understand the financial rules make the club sell our best players and I’ll soldier on as I’m on 90 grand a week thank you very much

Was CPFC's financial Policy explained during his appointment process, and the general terms which this applied to his position ?
Was Glasner promised more (in terms of transfer money) after the FA cup win , and Europe calling ?
Was there a confidentiality agreement about his departure ?

I think Steve Parish is playing it right. Letting Glasner see out his contract is hopefully the least disruptive option.
Legal stuff is to no-one's benefit if it went to court.
I hope that by the time the final match of the season comes, the fans can applaud Glasner's work, give him a decent send-off, and hoping we have some more silverware for the cleaning lady to get busy on. 🙂 (if we haven't fooked her off too) 😀

It has been pointed out that Glasner has a business degree so I would be surprised if he did not know our clubs business strategy before he signed for us.

I feel sure that Parish must have explained the transfer policy and the structure in which the club is run financially. It would have been massively irresponsible not to have done
