Villa v Maccabi

Any report will seek to diffuse and distribute blame in group-think, as we saw in Hillsborough, Post Office , Covid and Muslim child rape gangs. The lies will be forthright and there will be no accountability by anyone.
Penge says someone might get sacked, but he also points out on a complete pension. Wouldn't anyone want to take early retirement, rather than get involved any further ?
On a personal level, I thought the banning of Maccabi fans might have been correct, but only because of the 5hlt-storm that had been stoked up a few weeks prior.
The report will be a cover-up, but the outcome will be interesting

I'm reading that its a detailed procedure the PCC has to go through to remove a Chief Constable, well get started now West Midlands want an ounce of credibility.
Yep although if he had an ounce of morality he would resign.
Wouldn’t take him long to rehearse this:

They normally do take early retirement so I find his behaviour somewhat bizarre. It looks like he is banged to rights. Maybe by taking retirement he is accepting he was wrong but being sacked he can be a victim ( even if sacked he would keep his pension I believe).

Just a little snippet from the Independent report into the actions of WMP, perhaps certain posters on here will comment?

Mahmood adds that the report shows police "overstated the threat posed by the Maccabi Tel Aviv fans, while understating the risk that was posed to the Israeli fans if they travelled to the area"

And here we go - a Muslim MP kicking back and standing up for Craig Guildford.

courtesy of the BBC website -

Independent MP Ayoub Khan says "this is nothing but a witch hunt", and that Chief Constable Craig Guildford has been "thrown under the bus".

As he speaks, shouts of "absolute rubbish" and "disgrace" sound around the Commons.

In response, the home secretary says she is responding to findings made by the independent police inspectorate.

  • Khan, the MP for Birmingham Perry Barr, campaigned for the fans' ban - and called on Uefa, the culture secretary and the West Midlands Police chief to cancel the fixture or "take immediate steps to ensure public safety and community harmony"
If Guildford stays there will be trouble but Labour saying that the Tories changed the rules under Theresa May and that Mahmood can't sack him!

A real s***show

Shut the mosques down in the area for hate speech.

You have to take a long hard look at the PCC. Why has he not acted? Is it pressure from a certain community or is lodge based? I suspect the latter but wouldn’t be surprised it was the former
I would doubt such a person would be welcome on the square where a requirement is a belief in God

But no comment on Iranians being murdered by their own government.

It's all about Jews with you. I think we should call you The Ayatollah.
