Maccabi were banned to avoid a local Islamic uprising, not because they were the problem.
Football fans from abroad are often troublesome. They don't get banned from England. They never have.

The Police lied to make their lives easier and avoid a riot, although, I still find it hard to believe that the Police acted alone in this decision.
