If you dont want to read peoples feelings on this dont. Simple. Telling everyone to 'grow up' is a bit rich when you praise all of the achievements but refuse to criticise the worst performance/result in the clubs history. So you went home and away years ago? So what? Some of us still do but dont feel the need to talk down to others we disagree with.

yes, it is just reinforces how bad our defending is. The scorer is 5ft 10 and has jumped pretty much alone to head in from a decent distance whilst both Canvot and MG behind him both have their feet on the ground.

Goals change games, and that one definitely did

the players was at fault in that game there was no heart or pride from them , hence the disaster of a result but did it warrant 53 pages of the same , trust me I was angry but its not end of the world , yes got the hurt , biggest problem alot of people was more worried about having the P taken out of them more than anything by other fans , yes it was a rant but I stopped dissecting the game 30 mins after the game finished , if you go back in the post I told how I got over it quickly , lets see how things stand at the end of the month

Oddschecker shows you can get 125/1 against Palace being relegated. If you’re that sure, we will be relegated, why not put a bet on?

I judge how safe a team is by the minimum number of goals that need to be scored to relegate them - the higher the number, the safer the team is.

After Palace v Ipswich in 1993, this number was five. The wrong five goals were scored, and we went down. Because of this, I think we have a tendency to be nervous about relegation.

However, it is extremely rare for a team to go down with this kind of margin.

Blackpool went down in 2011 after building a margin of six goals, but this is the only occasion since 1995 when a PL team has build up a margin of more than 3 goals and been relegated.

I therefore feel safe when we have reached a margin of 7 goals.

At the moment we have a margin of TEN goals.

I put £50 on at 100-1 a few weeks ago.
I absolutely do not expect us to go down (this year!) but it acts an an insurance policy and if the bad run continues I may be good for a cash out !
I have done this every season since we got promoted and as I am crap at betting you can all thank me for our continued status in the premier 🤣

I dont buy the worst performance at all. Or result. It is a bad result and will put us on the map but tbh any publicity is good publicity. Internet searches sell merchandise and tickets. Every cloud and all that 👍

Man City are as low as 20/1 to be relegated. Do the bookies know something we don't ?
 
Not sure anyone mentioned it, but the only player who seemed genuinely distressed at the way the match was panning out was Uche.
This wasn't entirely positive, spilling over onto a silly foul and slightly nervous play. I just thought it interesting that he alone seemed to realise the permanent stain on all of their reputations that was unfolding in real time.
 
I get the FFP situation but it looks like the bookies know when the findings are going to be released. Arsenal must be praying for a points reduction.
 
Don’t know about anyone else but I’m still so embarrassed and humiliated that I can’t even use one of my Palace mugs for coffee or tea. And, I’ve Just been to the docs for a blood test and a guy came in after me and he had a t shirt saying Always Red and Blue. The receptionist then took the piss out of him. I’ve not seen anyone other than him wearing Palace colours since Saturday. Please let me feel better and let this end!
