Marc Guéhi

If Liverpool have any sense they will put in a decent bid for Guehi on the first day of the window.
It will be their last chance of getting him and even then, why would he go? He will be getting minimum £20m signing on fee in the summer probably a lot more. His game management is excellent at palace for the run up to USA. He has total choice in August.
Olise got £10m signing fee at Bayern allegedly and we got €50m. So if MG waits he will be on for a huge fee.

And what if no one other than Liverpool wants him or he gets injured when out of contract what then? Another Wilf situation?

He'll get a huge signing on fee in Jan too - maybe not as much as July but not to be sniffed at.

Also i suspect his weekly wage will start with a 2 not a 1 regardless. This is surely why Liverpool 'only' bid £35m for him a few months ago - his wage demands were significant.

Feeling a bit annoyed just watching Olise and Eze line up in the Champions League fixture.
To be followed by Guehi next season....but hopefully not Wharton, Munoz and Mateta- unless they're lining up for us!

Why would Mark go to Liverpool now. Looks like he dodged a bullet in August. Staying at the mighty Palace should ensure him his World Cup status next summer. And a happy life.
As I mentioned in a previous post, the high line game they play has been completely dismantled. Quite possibly we were the team that showed the way. If MG were to go there and they played the same system he wouldn't make any improvement to their fortunes, he being not the quickest but far superior in reading the game a bit deeper. They would need a completely new strategy to accommodate him.

No manager lasts this. So there will likely be different tactics. Glasner and Guehi methinks.

I think the first thing he should do is ring up Steve Parish and Oliver Glasner and thank him for vetoing the deal, if he goes to the bin dippers he is a mug.

at a guess, i would say that if Liverpool & Palace had swapped Guehi, we could also swap places in today's Prem Table. Their reluctance to exercise the Chequebook has really bitten the Liver Birds in their tail-feathers.

if Guehi re-ignited the interest from Real Madrid, it would be hilarious. Or maybe he can just stay with us, seeing as we are better than Liverpool.

That depends on his ego. Some players and managers think they can make a failing team winners. That is why people keep signing for Man Utd, their egos, the lure of big money and their agents wanting a payday. Hopefully OGs ego is Manure-proof. Marc is gone unfortunately, even if we got in th Champions League and probably still gone if we won the league.

I’m not sure Palace will be happy if he hangs around until next summer with no return. When Chelsea got rid of him we provided Marc with a platform and training under Roy to develop his skills and become one of the best defenders in Europe and an England international. He has been offered a substantial increase in wages just to sign an extension to his contract with presumably a fair buyout clause just like Eze and Olise. Palace has already set aside a substantial sum for a replacement and some return would help the Club that helped him. If he has any sense he should sign an extension as, with Canvot and hopefully Riad eying his place, he is not indispensable.

My attitude is the Club comes first.
He's been an amazing role model, he leaves us in a European cup and with the fa cup and charity shield... was worth it.

I must have been watching a different game to some of you in the second half.
Other than the offside goal Fulham rarely threatened in the second half whereas we had chances with Mateta, Uche (twice) and Pino as well as the Guehi goal.
Exceptional.
We looked quiet fluent on the break, with Wharton continually finding space down the sides with his astute passing.
