I seen this on x aswell. And the they all seem to think that violence is justifiable if it's against racism (which is alleged btw) and are calling anyone who disagrees Nazi or hitler.

Tbh I was expecting our fans to be attacked by local fans at whichever away games and some not being able to defend it. I forgot we have the HF who think their left wing pro Palestine BS speaks for us all and there’s another group from Addo who detest their naive student politics and won’t shy away from confronting the HF with a history of ganging up on timid fans. Iv been to all European games and been in the same pubs with my family as the so called addo lot (not with them but the same pub as them) i have not heard a single bit of racism, have seen the stop the boats flag but again this is a statement that 95% of the country agree on and a massive lump of europe. If the hf dont agree on the stop the boats then thats not a reason to attack people in a family pub. Seems like the minute anyone stands up to the hf they bully their way out of it... I heard alot of people say it in france but the hfs days are numbered. Bullying, violence etc wont be tolerated by us normal fans. My take is, as I got caught in the middle of this nonsense. Two big fellas start scrapping, both looked as shocked as each other as to why - shaking their heads with false innocence. Then the ‘others’ from both sides immediately start throwing plastic chairs at each other. It was over as quick as it started but the damage to our club’s reputation was done.

I said to the HF guy what’s that all this about and he replied “I don’t know” All this RW versus LW is nothing more than speculation and a smoke screen to fit the narrative. Two groups who clearly can’t stand the sight of each other (yes, probably due to their political views) and have a scrap at every opportunity they are gifted and on this occasion, in Strasbourg. There was no political stance from what I saw or heard, just irresponsible and mindless behaviour with families and children in close proximity. All those involved should be ashamed of themselves rather than trying to justify the unjustifiable. There will no doubt be a few of them who were involved that night, monitoring this website - so guys all the booing and telling you to stop, is how we Palace fans felt about your abhorrent behaviour. I have endured watching Palace for 50 plus years and we have this amazing opportunity that none of us could even dream of 18 months ago - don’t spoil it for us!
