A friend of mine was at the game with me yesterday. We are looking for reasons for not scoring making the odd mistake all the time , they are the fittest squad we have had and maybe the most skillful ,
they wasn't tiring just doing the simple things to save energy , don't listen to Clinton he couldn't run 5 yards without a holiday , all pundits talk about is playing to much , try working and playing you know the real world ,
so stop thinking this lot can't do the work load , I've see enough in this squad to not worry about playing to much , its a adrenaline sport all the time its going well , you have energy to burn , so please all of yous stop saying there tired due to playing 90 mins of football twice a week or even 3 times ,
I ran 10 to 15 miles a day 5 days a week play football and done a 12 hour shift which involved being on my feet , like the other 400 workers that was on site , so enjoy the ride while its happening, we lost to many players due to injurys in the past , enjoy why you can
He's a professional footballer.
I asked him what he thought about the players workload. It used to be said that players would rather play more and train less. But with the intensity of, in particular, Premier League football, it can and will have an effect when playing three games in a week.
