In my head, I can kind of hear the lyrics as "made his ears burn". I could be totally wrong as I had it on vinyl near the time it came out. It was probably the nineties when I last listened to it.

I worked on Canary Wharf in the 90s and could see into The Sun's office. They used to either project images or put posters up of the page 3 girls in their open plan office. How times will have changed. I'm sure there's a Change.org petition somewhere.

I've heard the Labour Party congress is considering solid gold American Express style credit card IDs for immigrants and anyone wrongly convicted of being in Palestine Action or the misdemeanours of Extinction Rebellion. The rest of us get a Tesco Club Card type thing which lets you take a fifteen minute walk from your house before flashing red and alerting appropriate authorities.
Better than Rwanda.
OK, silver foil hat time here. Feel free to berate but go with my thought processess here.
1. There is clearly a concerted effort to topple Starmer from within the Labour movement.
2. Its more than possible Blair is behind it all.
3. Blair LOVES digital ID cards and has been pushing for them for decades.
4. Starmer knows he is screwed.
5. So decides to screw Blair over, just for the hell of it.
6. Out of the blue, decides to go all in for these ID cards.
7. But does so KNOWING it will whip up a storm of hysteria (push back from all sides is massive and will only increase).
8. Meaning the ID card agenda has to be put on the back burner for a long long time.
9. Starmers leaves number 10 knowing he has screwed Blair.
