This promotion of a Muslim to Home Secretary feels like it’s Starmer’s reaction to a public opinion and push for Rayner to be sacked, just like his Southport protest reaction. He must know what people think. This authoritarian is a cvnt of the highest order. The worst PM in memory.

Definitely in line with my thinking. Her status as a Muslim will give her far more lee-way to be authoritarian when it comes to any attempts to crack down on crime. White Lefties are just f***ing scum and literally defend the rights of shop-lifters but will be hesitant to try and stop a Muslim for fear of the R word being leveled at them. Definitely not great for us Far-Right types because the two-tier stuff, at least on the political side, will not diminish but potentially, if she can get to grips with the insane levels of petty crime blighting peoples lives, then definitely a chance for Labour to at least gain some ground or at least stop losing it.
