Labour Party politics

Labour:

Pissing off the left with their Palestine Action stuff.

Pissing off the working class with higher prices.

Pissing off the middle classes with higher taxes.

Pissing off the old with cutting benefits.

Pissing off anyone needing treatment on the NHS.

Pissing off the right with immigration.

Pissing off business with higher contributions

Pissing off homeowners with higher council tax and poorer service

Pissing off renters by doing nothing.

Pissing off first time buyers with lack of house construction.

Pissing off students and their parents with an onus on foreign fee paying students and lack of affordable accommodation.

I realised that I've pissed myself and everyone else of with a list that could do with several other points.
I figured the only people not getting pissed off with Labour are likely Islamic, newly arrived asylum seekers, the long term unemployed, particularly those in housing authority housing or perhaps the rich, rather ironically. There has been no concerted effort to stop tax evasion by the very richest. If there's such a thing as a Muslim block vote, it almost looks like Labour want that. I believe that we'll stop seeing the trans agenda in education, not to placate the right, but to placate the more vociferous religious element. Is Khan (pardon me) being groomed for future Labour glory? I've thought it for a long time.

Obviously I really dislike Starmer (the dishonesty even more than his politics) and I view the Labour party as even more incompetent that the Tory shower we had.....Still, everytime I see Sunak I cringe.....Hunt, Johnson and Cameron even worse.

However, I do recognise the almost impossible situation they walked into.....what can't be denied though is that they have only made it worse. Though it has to be said that it's their own MPs who won't let them do anything radical......kind of ironic given the massive majority they have.

Starmer's obsessional preference for minorities (being left wing and gay/bisexual probably accounts for it) is going to hurt Labour......He tries to hide it but only because he knows how badly it plays out. Personally I think the Southport situation and its consequences his reaction will stick to him all the way through.....He may have delighted the Owen Jones' types but he killed himself with many of the white working class.

But it's one of the few things he's been consistent on in his career.....For Starmer his 'out group preference' is as important to him as being anti EU is to Corybn.

Mandelson is like Boris in that scandal follows them around. They maybe talented but they are disasters waiting to happen.

Mandelson is so obviously compromised that I'm amazed no one is bringing this up.

He was obviously taking 'escorts' or whatever we call them from Epstein and It stands out like a sore thumb.

The judgement in using him for an important job is another black mark on Starmer.....he has so many at this point that he's practically walking around in blackface.

Mandelson will have diplomatic immunity, so whatever he has done wrong, and however it ends up in a legal situation, he will be spared. I wouldn't be surprised that he didn't push for the job to both gain that immunity but also to be closer to what is going on; he will have privileged access to numerous things that would be beneficial to him personally.

Why he was ever given the most prestigious Ambassador post, ahead of career diplomats is mind boggling. However it is another gift that they keep on giving 😂

Quite possibly because of his relationship with Epstein.

He may well know things about Trump that would ruin him should they become public so can be used to protect us. It’s the only kind of leverage that Trump seems to understand.

Trump always says he he has a soft spot for the UK and respect for Starmer. Neither of which feels very likely. That and Lammy getting cosy with Vance has never made sense to me.

Maybe Mandelson is the real reason.

A cogent point.

Did Epstein trade in gay escorts? I wouldn’t put it past him but have not seen it claimed.

That said Mandelson was obviously up to his neck in some kind of Epstein sponsored sleeze.

Whether he also knows how deeply Trump was too and holds the evidence is another question.

Surely that only applies to crimes committed whilst in post and not any committed previously. It also doesn’t stop a prosecution here or a waiver being granted.

Is there any evidence Trump ever went to Epstein's Island?

It's fair to recognise that it's my assumption.....the fawning stuff he sent to him tends to suggest it in my view.

But, like I say, it's fair to question my opinion....as that's all anyone of us have on this. Because there appears to be zero honesty about any of it.

Well, as you know......if Trump was banging underage or trafficked girls then he deserves to be kicked out.

Principle over politics.

Personally I'm of the view that Trump is compromised by Israel/Mossad/CIA as I think that explains a lot.....but it's only my view.

I'm not sure but I thought that it does cover him whilst in US for all misdemeanours. Not sure Starmer would issue a waiver or want to prosecute his friend. If it would be embarrassing for Mandleson to return to the UK if guilty, the I'm sure he's end up in Brazil.

Republican politics is generally divorced from ours yet the countries are always cozier when they are in power.

Democrats are more politically aligned yet they are relatively cold to us when in office.

I suspect this is largely down to the Irish diaspora (who hate us) and those of colour (who are focused elsewhere).

In the US maybe but not at home and can be waived.

Trump, with his “model agency” has been accused of trafficking underaged girls. Though not yet in a Court. There’s enough photo evidence to raise questions. Whether he was “banging” them too is unproven but given his track record and character it would hardly be a surprise.

He may well be compromised as you suggest but it also seems likely he is by Russia. The suggestion being that when the banks refused to bail him out after the failure of his casinos he turned to Russia for help and they now own him.

If true it would explain a lot.

Are you sure you meant thumb? 😂
Totally compromised and Starmer knew the background. The vetting process is incredibly vigorous, I was vetted to quite a high level before going abroad and it was incredibly in depth and that was for just an underling. The vetting for an Ambassador post would have revealed all this, but Starmer chose to ignore it, why?

For once Wissie is correct 😂. I am not sure there is enough evidence to prosecute Mandleson, yet. However I would be very surprised and outraged if he is still in post by the weekend. As for Starmer, wtf was he thinking making this appointment? His lack of judgment beggars belief and us very worrying for someone in his position ( although I doubt he will be in that position much longer)
