Manuel Akanji

Spurs are now favourites to sign Akanji. Maybe Levy hopes this will hurt Palace financially by not being able to do the Guehi deal? But as discussed on this thread already I don't think he'd have come here over Milan

(According to the BBC gossip page)

The back up for letting Guehi leave to 0, is i would expect Wharton to leave next summer for 100m+.
so no to selling him for me, to late.

I don’t know how most of the Premier League sign the most expensive players in the world with the sh1t holes their stadiums new and old stand in lol.

TV rights . Plain and simple . EPL earns about 50 % more than La Liga which is 2nd for football codes

Gridiron , American Basketball and Baseball are the top 3 in terms of TV rights .

I went to the Chelsea and Southhampton games last year . I Go to games at the SCG ( Sydney Swans ) and the Sydney Football stadium ( Sydney FC a league ) which are modern day marvels compared to Selhurst , but unless it’s a packed house at the SCG watching the swans in a Final , the atmosphere doesn’t compare , and that comes across on the TV .

You don’t realise how antiquated Selhurst park is until your queuing up to go through the turnstiles to get it , trying to get into the toilet or buy something at half time …

On Ted Lasso it looks cool .

But would you want it any other way 😎

Some nice areas around Middlesbrough. Also close to North Yorkshire and lots of countryside
You haven’t said where is nice near to Wolverhampton lol. I would have said Stoke, but truth is there’s somewhere nice to live nearby most large to medium sized English teams. Whether there’s anywhere good to go out to is another question.

It would be Hagley. There are a few places to be fair. But Hagley is where Lee Sharpe lives for instance. A bit further would be Kidderminster, Bewdley. Like a half hour drive on a dual carriageway.
