I think some sort of alert should be sounding...This lot are finished already - credibility on the floor.
The left need to unite behind the Greens, who are actually campaigning and polling very well - recently polled as the most popular party amongst under-50s, which is huge.

Made up name."The Green Party has raked in more than £4m in membership fees in just 10 weeks since Zack Polanski was elected leader.
Membership numbers have soared to more than 150,000, and there were 78,000 sign ups in October alone, earning the party an additional £4m since Polanksi's election at the start of September.
The membership drive has almost double the Green's funding."

Labour will move the goalposts about the area size and mix of areas. Probably twin clacton with Bethnal Green 😂Reform are much bigger yet I still can't be sure they'll win any power

I hope the halfwits of this country vote Green instead of Labour. Nigel Farage will be delighted. When you see POlanski andthe

The politics of envy
Really, can you elaborate with any factual support?Lazy analysis.
The majority of people support a wealth tax.
Not apathy I would say. More disgust and total lack of trust.Agree, but I think if we’re going to see someone other than Labour/Tories in power, it’s at the next GE - the apathy most people have to the two traditional parties is enormous.

History has shown that there is a point at which the rich leave, and that point has been reached, Reeves has created a situation where tax revenues from the rich will decrease because of her incompetence and ideology. This reminds me of my late father. He was always in favour of taxing the rich, many people are. Of course it all depends on how you define rich.
My father was always moaning about being a poor pensioner and in the same breath would then complain he paid too much tax. He didn't like it when I pointed out that poor pensioners don't pay tax.
My problem with more taxes is I simply don't trust the government (any) to spend the money wisely. They just fritter it away meanwhile the "rich" have either left the country or found a way to hide their money legally or otherwise.
In other words it doesn't work.

My comment wasn't supposed to be a detailed analysis of the UK political system but my lazy analysis of your reply is wealth tax = politics of envy.Lazy analysis.

I have a feeling that they will pin the blame on white supremacy. The greens have a Muslim MP, they've hit a realisation wall because he's refusing to endorse all their LGBTQ+++++++ and other green fringe groups that don't meet Islamic values.
Their surprise is amusing.
