Yeremy Pino

to the tune of Geno by Dexy's ... I do apologise, I am a very sad individual and I need to get a life.

back at Villareal he was quite good, so he was ... oh Pino
but Ollie will improve him or so he should, as his boss ... oh, oh, oh Pino
with darting runs on the left wing
he plays like he's got the ball on a string
bbbbrrrrrrrrr it's a lot colder here than over in Spain
so we'll warm him up with this personal refrain ...

I can feel the inspiration building up in me (de-der der-de der de)
When the man on the ball is the one they call ... Yeremy
Don't say it with a 'J' or people will say that you're only yoking
A star in yellow to our stripes he say hello and looks absolutely smoking
😕

If anyone has a better rhyming couplet to finish with that would be appreciated - I was getting a bit desperate.

Anyone singing "Pino Pino Pino" now needs to be punched in the mouth.

I'd go with Pearl Jam, Jeremy.

"Yeremy showed his, claaaassss todaaaaaay"

Ps, very excited by this signing. Calling it now, he's better than Eze.

Bit more of an all rounder than Eze I reckon. A few of the reports I’ve read on him say he is a hard worker who defends well for a forward and also presses well so he is probably better in the areas where Eze had deficiencies. Perhaps more 7.5 performances can be expected whereas Eze would have a couple of 8s followed by a couple of 6s.

He definitely has potential to grow into a top player however being both young but having decent experience at the top level already. I agree with you that he is an excellent replacement and could become a big fan favourite this season.

With both Sarr and Wharton out for at least the next two or three matches we will need our new players to step up and contribute early.

Agree he needs time and I am confident he is more than good enough to fill Eze’s place at palace.
He is injured now though isn’t he, has anyone heard how serious?

I haven't heard about yet another injury, but I would imagine he would be available for after the break. Another massive plus is with his defensive aspect he can be back-up for Munoz - and with him Uche, Sarr and now Kamada competing for those two wide positions we now have real balance, flexibility and the ability to rotate.

Remember how deflated we were when we got Sarr for Olise?

Does this mean we won't be able to play him v sunderland?
Guess it depends on the severity of the "discomfort". It's a pretty broad description covering everything from a blister to a fracture. Still, he's got a few days for treatment before the next game.
He's not listed on PremierLeague.com injuries so hopefully it's not too serious.

Hoping it's a political injury to give him time to settle in.

As someone told me on here, EPL Injuries is not updated until Glasner's pre-Mackem presser.
