I don't know why, perhaps it's just me. But I picture you as John Hurt in Alien, with the octopus-like creature stuck to your face, with it's tentacles wrapped around your head.

Worst way to go. You die of natural causes, heart attack or some other boring exit. Dying just a few hours before the Iceberg, probably in your sleep, and not even discovered yet..........everybody back home assumes your life was tragically cut short.
