Wolves vs Palace.....Match Thread

Last season a poster on here kept banging on about how we should try and sign Nketiah, and so I was shocked when we did - imagine us paying big wonga for a player who had a worse record than Edouard last season! There's nothing about him that suggests improvement, quite the contrary.
Now I have written this, he will go on and score the winner.

Even if Mateta had scored, I imagine Chalobah would have been called offside (for impeding/blocking the goalie's view). Not great quality football really, but don't care as long as we can get the win!

It’s been a secret trick of mine for years.

I’m actually enjoying the game. We seem to be flicking it around nicely, pressing and creating chances.

I think we’ll win.

Not sure what’s up with Nketiah?

Playing as though he’s been dragged out of bed and loathed to be there. Awful.
Our weakest link for sure. My expectations of him were much higher.
But, we are much better than Wolves and it'll be a travesty if we don't get all 3 points. Clinton thinks so too!

Well at least you've done your best 🤣

So far, so good, really need to win this one. I wish we were more lethal up front and were getting the ball forward with less cross field and backward passing as that allows them to get players behind the ball!

Should have scored first half. They look poor so hopefully second half we keep the pressure on and score.

This has been a regular problem with us this season, we have had games where we are creating more opportunities than the opposition but not putting the ball in the net. Only to get punished later.

Let's hope that the second half bucks that trend.

Out of topic: I'll be in London next weekend for the Fulham game and will meet-ip with my English friend, who is Fulham, for the game. Anybody knows about a nice pub (any other than the Prince George) around the ground, who will let us in (two elderly guys in colours, without any violent intentions)?
