Wolves Predictions.

Although we will undoubtedly miss Eze and Wharton, I think our star men recently have been Munoz, Mateta and Hennessy and they are all fit. We just need to ensure we have don’t pick a thread-bare mid-field and let Wolves over-run us through the centre. I thought Kamada was much better on Wednesday but his defensive attributes are still suspect and with Mateta, Sarr and Nketiah to choose from as our attacking threats, I’d probably start Kamada on the bench and bring him on later.

It surely has to be Hughes and Lerma in the middle. Can we also accommodate all 3 attacking threats mentioned above or just 2 at one time?

I feel this could be Nketiah’s day if he just relaxes, enjoys himself more and tries to place his shots.

Lerma is injured.

I assume you mean Henderson not Hennessey.

Not sure I'd consider him a star man following the Forest game.

Lerma is also injured so won't be available today.

I don’t think he could ever be regarded as a star man 🤣

Hope so for fast Eddie he's a good kid for sure.

Chalobah into midfield with Hughes and Clyne into the back 3.
Glasner said he won't do this.

He wants to keep the back 3 together.

He also mentioned giving youngsters some game time and name checked Devaney as an example.
He also said there's no point in having an expensive academy if youngsters aren't utilised and this is one of the reasons he likes to work with a smaller senior squad.

Not entirely sure whether this has been pointed out yet, and although it's a much improved post, W.Hennessey isn't available for selection because he isn't contractually available to be and remains unemployed as of today's date following the conclusion of his contract with Notts FC in June 2024.

The irony is Mr Hennessey is another cog that connects the two teams today as he was Wolverhampton FC goal-tender before dropping down the soccer pyramid to join us in order to gain the first team soccer experience.

It would be great to have him tending our goal today as yet another connecting cog is WFC signed our no 1 choice GT S.Johnston during the last permitted UEFA switching window for £10m GBP (Inst documented as £2.5m GBP payable annually 06/30/24 through 06/30/27

Although D.Henderson has performed a number of heroics this season by keeping the opposing goals for to a reasonable level and deserves a run in the team after sadly being dropped during the victory over Aston VFC on 10/29/24 which saw us progress to the Q.FINAL of the 2024/2025 series of the British League Cup as we continue our quest to win the first major trophy of our history and once again remain the only soccer side in the EPL who has not won a recognised major shield, following the arrival of the 3 promoted teams Leicester FC, Ipswich TFC and Southampton FC, all of which have either won the British Soccer Championship, the British Football Association Cup or the British League Cup at least once.

Safe travels to all of the red and blue soldiers making their way to Wolverhampton City today, please keep your wits about you as it's an extremely hostile ground with hostile locals.

We are proud of you all.

Goalkeeper mate, and Wolverhampton is a town to us. They are hostile enough alright but most of those days are over.

I do apologise for my misleading post then today (11/02/24) at 11.25am GMT as looking at the OS map of the UK it it shows Wolverhampton as a City of the UK, so thank you for pointing it out to me whilst I get to grips still with the UK regions.

And yes I would agree with you on those days being all but over but my research shows they had a local group of villains called "The Subway Army" (sic) in the era of 1970 through 1990 which was disbanded after a rival army who associated themselves with Wolves Wanderers FC, took them on and won.

However my sources read that in recent times a large number of turf gangs have deployed chicanery in the Wolverhampton town and now re-emerged bonded and making the visiting fanatics feel very lonely and somewhat worried, which was highlighted after a group of Watford Town FC fanatics were attacked in recent years by their junior cadets which resulted in the sad passing of one of the visiting fanatics.

Thanks, it is rough enough alright. I know it pretty well. Don't book a holiday there.

What's the 'British Soccer Championship'?
I understand your confusion entirely as I guess like me, you are new to British Soccer games.

Well Mr Eagleman (a great surname btw) it gets me nearly every time as well because we have a "Premier" League Championship here in the UK and also have a "Championship" League Championship, along with several other championship leagues throughout the British Soccer pyramid.

And only recently, I have found out that the Scottish Highlands also have a Premiership and Championship in the same format.

And there seems to be a TOW who created Soccer first in the UK as the Scottish Highland league claim they were the pioneers but I've met many great folk around the Croy Don area and St.Norwoods area who have educated me well and say it was the English.

Sorry Honey Gee but you’re conflating your Scottish Leagues. The Scottish Professional Football Leagues (SPFL) consists of the Premier league, Championship, League 1, and League 2. Although it includes teams based in the Scottish Highlands it covers the whole of Scotland from the Highlands to the Lowlands and Borders.
There is a Scottish Highland League which is part of a fifth tier system rather like the English National League. The winners of the Highland League play the winners of the Lowland League to decide who gets into a playoff with the bottom team in League 2 with the winner securing their place in League 2 for the next season.
Hope that’s cleared up any confusion!
