Wolves Predictions.

I thought Chalobah played quite a bit as a defensive midfielder for Chelsea. I could be mistaken.
He can play there, and it may come to that.
It's just in recent press conferences Glasner has made a big point about getting the current back 3 together for a run of games and may feel inclined to keep them together if possible.

Both Wolves and Fulham employ skilful runners from midfield and I, for one, would feel more comfortable with a tackling presence in midfield.

However OG constructs the players available I cannot see us beating Wolves who in most games that I have seen pose a threat. I guess it will be lost in midfield the only hope is that our defence performs as they have been and the forwards take all the chances they are presented with. I am going for a 2-1 defeat but hope I am wrong.COYP

OG's post-match comments were that Wharton would play this weekend but they're not sure about Ebs. Kamada looked much more comfortable cutting in from the left, so if Eze is out he might get the chance to build on last night's second-half performance.
Strangely he’s a player who can play an eze role. Maybe both on the pitch is not working. If Kamada works out in ezes role it’s a brilliant sub at 65-70 minutes when the oppos defence are knackered.

Wolves have to win this, and it looks like we're without Wharton and Eze and several other key midfielders so you'd have to go for Wolves. If OG can't start Doucoure the only realistic partner for
Hughes appears to be Chalobah, if we put Kamada or Schlupp in there I'd be very worried, Kamada can get his chance in Eze's left position, JP in the middle and Sarr on the right, then fight for dear life for a draw whuich would be a great result. Love to see Agbinone get a few more minutes. We pressed high v Spurs, if we'd done the same v Forest it prob wud gave been less effective as they rely on fast counter attacks - I predict we play a Hodgson low block and try to break on them, might be a good time for Nketiah, JP's been far more convincing but Nketiah has more pace, so Sarr. who is improving, could be key as well. I like Gary O'Neill but I hope we hand him his P45, don't honestly think we will though.

I wonder if it is time to bring Holding in from cold and put Geuhi in defensive midfield same,as at the end of last season. We need to see how Kamada does as Eze replacement

I desperately want Nketiah to score on Saturday and have a funny feeling he’ll get 2.

We will score 3 today, our scorers will be Kamada, Nketia & Mitchell -

(I'm definitely doing the lottery tonight, lol)

If Doucoure is fit enough to start alongside Hughes with Kamada in the Eze role I’m going for 2-1 Palace with Kamada scoring then shifting to a number 6 when Doucoure tires second half so one of the kids can come on. And just for good measure it’s the first game where Hughes doesn’t get a yellow.

I thought we might see Jesse Derry on the bench today. seenas there is so many injuries , wrong position maybe .

Wolves have been a bit like us this season. Results disappointing and not playing to their full potential over 90 minutes.

I think our back three are in for a busy afternoon.

Difficult to see a win given the injuries we have. I'd be happy with a point but I've a feeling we'll come up short in this one. Another single goal defeat.

I would say a professional COI will put paid to that with his Father, S.P Derry widely considered a C.Palace FC legend and now etching his name in Wolverhampton folklore after being appointed Head Coach and Assistant to G.O'Neill last year to the City's Football Club, W.Wanderers FC.

He also took charge of a game last season deputising for Mr O'Neill who fell ill during the early stages of a soccer match with Luton FC which produced a 3 to nothing victory, raising his stock level, giving him cult status at the soccer club.

Palace to take the lead in the first half with a goal from one of our central defenders from the second phase of a set piece.
Hughes to get booked in the 32nd minute for checking one of Cunha's marauding runs from midfield.
Kamada also booked.
Palace make substitutions are under pressure in the second half and concede a late equaliser.
1-1.
