Right so since years before I was born it's always been legal to be gay and frankly, nobody in my generation ever cared if you're gay or not.

Can you think of any other changes in legislation from nearly a lifetime ago that are celebrated for one entire month and where non participation is considered potentially criminal?

Even mourning our war dead is only about a week.

Make society an easier and cheaper place to own a house and then have kids and people will have them earlier in life and more of them. It’s literally that simple.

Literally just been through all this ourselves, as have many of our friends. I’m 40 next year and my wife has just turned 40. Our youngest is nearly 2. Despite having fairly decent jobs we were only in a position to raise kids at mid 30s.

If we could have started 5 years earlier a third probably would have happened.

No one has ever tried to tell me having children is ‘bad’. Nearly all my friends my generation now have kids, just most of them at a similar time in life to us for the same reasons.

However, you and I know it's about what society has been sold....having that holiday is more important that another child, thinking of how it impacts us.

Yes women are being conditioned to have careers and "have a life" before settling down to have children. When they finally decide to have kids it's already too late for them.

It was certain sexual activities that were illegal not actually being homosexual. Buggery and sodomy were illegal but that applied to everyone not just homosexuals. In 1885 the law was extended to include what was termed 'homosexual acts of gross indecency'. Billions of quids spent every year by the State on crowding-out the minimum-wage worker. c) default divorces for nearly everybody...doubling the number of households and doubling the needs of the nation.

Make it advantageous for women to marry young, have many kids, stay married etc...... cos today its impossible.

I know some Latin Americans and people from other developing nations. They are shocked when they realise how we organise family-life in The West. And Woke is central to all of this. Woke seems to be a loathing for the traditional working straight white male. In Latin America he is seen as an asset, a resource, a bill-payer, a 'head of family' a sperm-doner who will happily pay the associated bills of his own seed ( and not that of other men) , a child-rearer, a problem-solver, a tyre-changer,....in The West he is treated like a criminal. All the functions discussed above have been outsourced to Daddy Government, a sperm bank, or the RAC.

I'm not much older than you. I raised twins, my wife was at home, then part time until they were 15. We had cheap camping holidays when we could, a terraced house and shared a bit of a banger that I did the small jobs on. We didn't go out much at all. It's ALWAYS been hard but your reward was a solid family and legacy, well it used to be until this 3rd wave feminism especially.

When you have nuclear families, before this go girl s*** where women can be Bonnie Blue, then fail to bond with a man, don't want kids, and are happy to ignore the marriage bonds they made, well, it's a recipe for disaster. You talk about unaffordability now? It'll be a disaster in the end.
