I don’t see Glasner resigning and I don’t see Parish sacking him and paying off Glasner and his entourage of staff.
Obviously this could change if future results are disastrous, but I don’t see this happening either with the full squad now at his disposal.

I think Steve Parrish may be having a nervous breakdown, he's probably running round his bedroom naked burning £20 notes and his face is covered in jam and his hair's standing on end and he can't stop screaming until he starts crying. That is the only sensible conclusion I can deduce from the last few days.

I think he's been scoffing the same "special" brownies he and Brighty had in Amsterdam when they hired De Boer.

They wore off at 11.55 Monday night when he realised they're four minutes away from spunking £20,000,000 on an Everton bench warmer (and now revealed bed wetter).

Small correction...Chelsea were to receive a percentage of the profit from the Guehi sale. However there was none (signed for £23m, sold for £20m), therefore we owe them nothing.

It is a bit confusing however why we've spent money now whereas if we had spent it in the summer, we'd be in a much better position, potentially a better league position, better position in Europe, with Glasner fully on board and potentially Mateta still.
 
I am very uneasy about the transfers.
Wolves and Everton must have seen us coming. OK we dodged the bullet with £20million for McNeil but the way it was handled left a sour taste.
Time will tell about Larsen but after the Nketiah and Johnson expensive debacles I do doubt the Freedman replacement knows what he is doing.

More than a bad taste, especially as it follows on from the Guehi/Liverpool proceedings. At least with Parish still in charge, Palace cannot be trusted in transfer dealings: something that both managers and agents/players will take note of

We’d be better off for sure but I just don’t believe it would have made the slightest difference to Glasner’s commitment. I think we could have spent £100m in every window since he’s been here and he’d still be on his way. He was going to do his initial contract with us an no more. Look how he changed his tune when he realised complaining about the squad wasn’t going to get him sacked as he intended

That's the spirit, McNeil is a decent player for 20m, Nketiah is a CF, has he had a run at CF, no, Johnson has played 5 games, and we have a blinkered buffoon as manager
