Where the F**K was all this money in the summer!

Spending big also sends out a good tense of opportunity for prospective managers, thinking the spending will continue, which it will not, Muñoz will go before the time the financial regulations are due.

You are talking like Glasner will still be here
I don’t see Glasner resigning and I don’t see Parish sacking him and paying off Glasner and his entourage of staff.
Obviously this could change if future results are disastrous, but I don’t see this happening either with the full squad now at his disposal.

Brighton will be his last game, then Parish WILL sack him

I think Steve Parrish may be having a nervous breakdown, he's probably running round his bedroom naked burning £20 notes and his face is covered in jam and his hair's standing on end and he can't stop screaming until he starts crying. That is the only sensible conclusion I can deduce from the last few days.

Just the normal Tuesday then.

I think he's been scoffing the same "special" brownies he and Brighty had in Amsterdam when they hired De Boer.

They wore off at 11.55 Monday night when he realised they're four minutes away from spunking £20,000,000 on an Everton bench warmer (and now revealed bed wetter).

When you look at the total we spend just over more for incoming then selling those 2 players.

Guehi we got around 15m max because Chelsea was to receive 20-25% of the 20m City paid.

Eze 60m going upto 65m with addons.

Players coming in BJ (35m) - Pino (25m) - Canvot (20m) these don't include the clauses for likes of Uche & Gussand [we threw away 2-5m on Sosa]
Small correction...Chelsea were to receive a percentage of the profit from the Guehi sale. However there was none (signed for £23m, sold for £20m), therefore we owe them nothing.

It is a bit confusing however why we've spent money now whereas if we had spent it in the summer, we'd be in a much better position, potentially a better league position, better position in Europe, with Glasner fully on board and potentially Mateta still.

I am very uneasy about the transfers.
Wolves and Everton must have seen us coming. OK we dodged the bullet with £20million for McNeil but the way it was handled left a sour taste.
Time will tell about Larsen but after the Nketiah and Johnson expensive debacles I do doubt the Freedman replacement knows what he is doing.

pls provide the source for this (not some tabloid etc) because I have not seen it was only profit %

More than a bad taste, especially as it follows on from the Guehi/Liverpool proceedings. At least with Parish still in charge, Palace cannot be trusted in transfer dealings: something that both managers and agents/players will take note of

I have a mental image of that unit Hobbs in a room with Parish.
"Matt, look, twenty million, it's a-"
SLAM
Hobbs grabs Steve by the scrote and pushes him into the corner, he yelps, but they're in a boardroom after hours, the staff have all gone home
"Now lissen ere Beaky! I'm in chardge nah, uhroight?! Yoo hired me as DoF ann I'm gonna bleeding well do as I please"
"Yes, yes okay Matt okay!"
"MISTER HOBBS"
"AhHhHHhhh Mister Hobbs! Mister Hobbs!"

His breath, rank with the smell of beef trotters and turnip juice fills Steve's nostrils as he squirms. "Oh Duggy where are you? Come back... Come back!" He thinks to himself
Suddenly the phone rings, snapping away both their eyes. Hobbs looks back at Steve, he pats him on the cheek and gives it a tug
"You leave this one to yer Uncle Hobbs, okay"
He mashes the 'conference call' button with his prawn cocktail stained index finger
"Palace! Managing Director Matt Obbs ere"
"Alright, lissen ooo yew paira daff basteds, iss 9 pm here in Liverpyool, where the foch is ma Dwightys limousine?! You fochin promised ma la' a saaaigning, an I've golla bewkin' atha hair salon on Croydon high street, wotha foch is goin on eh?

Hobbs tries and tries to get a word in but the angry turkey on the other end doesn't even need to catch her breath to keep going.
BASH - slowly backing away, he thrashes the phone against the wall

"f*** signing that c*** if she's what comes wivvim"

"Oh thank you Duggy, wherever you are" Parish whispers.

Cut to ad break.

We’d be better off for sure but I just don’t believe it would have made the slightest difference to Glasner’s commitment. I think we could have spent £100m in every window since he’s been here and he’d still be on his way. He was going to do his initial contract with us an no more. Look how he changed his tune when he realised complaining about the squad wasn’t going to get him sacked as he intended

That's the spirit, McNeil is a decent player for 20m, Nketiah is a CF, has he had a run at CF, no, Johnson has played 5 games, and we have a blinkered buffoon as manager
