What if we get no one this Jan Window

My local club's site was buzzing with the rumour they were signing one Kris Masampa - after a period of claims and counter claims with lots of frantic Googling it was pointed out they were unlikely to be signing a Christmas Hamper.

That really is a ship in dock joke😳😳😢😗- having its bottom scraped.

Just a guess but if we do sell JPM to Forest can Parish delay it so that it is in the window but too late for him to register to play against us?

NB You cannot have a clause that stops playing against your former club.
No, but you could surely 'um and arr' for a day or two, so that any medical takes place on the Sunday or last day of the window.

Perhaps we send him there with two left footed boots the ones he currently plays in.

BBC reporting this earlier this week: "Mateta, since his remarkable upturn in form over the past 18 months, has always made clear his desire to play at the highest level and has aims of playing in the Champions League and representing France at the World Cup."

How is that compatible with a move to Forest? I can't make it make sense.

Might not be the right thread but anyway.

I have been watching Millwall lately as my Millwall mates keep going on about Femi Azeez their winger.

He does not have the trickery of Zaha or even great pace. However he does posses one thing, a good cross into the box and he's not afraid to use it.

I'm not suggesting we buy him but it's refreshing to see a wide player who doesn't always cut inside to score himself, runs into trouble and then passes back to a centre back so no end product.

He is just single minded, get the ball and cross it into the box and most of them are good crosses.

It's just refreshing to watch a player doing that and he is Millwall's main provider. I bet their strikers love him.

We were linked with him previously but I suspect his value has gone up. It's a good shout - one I was thinking of. He also tracks back quite well and is pretty hard working and combative.
One issue would be if Esse and Rak-Sakyi keep on performing, is he any better than them? The obvious comparison being Esse.

I'm not sure he is (beating a man) except he is a better crosser of the ball.

Maybe a moot point given the impending managerial change, but based on what you said can he tackle? Sounds like a very promising wing back.

I'd imagine in his head it is some combination of:

1. He'd be starting both here and at Forest.
2. Wheels have come off here - we might go down just as easily as Forest might.
3. Better service from the likes of Hudson-Odoi etc.
4. Bored at current club / feels ceiling has been reached. So the only way is down.
5. Signing on fee / higher wages.
6. Mug of an agent telling him what an amazing move it would be.
