What if we get no one this Jan Window

How many transfer rumours are started by betting companies who will then happily accept money on them actually happening? It could be why many possible moves show more than one club going for the same player.
 
Won't be the end of the world.

We have Riad coming back and looking promising. We have Doucoure training again. We now have Sarr and Munoz back in action. It won't be long before Nketiah and Kamada are fit again and competing for places. Sure, I'd like another one or two, particularly in the defensive areas. But we'll be fine.
 
Much as I still believe Canvot's got a future with us, I worry that other clubs will target him if his confidence dips too low, he needs more time, also worry that Riad's fitness can't yet be relied on especially in Guehi's role.

All I hear though is noise apropos (cheers Willo😁) Monsieur Mateta and potential replacements... I just hope for our sake the clubs geniunely in advanced talks with an experienced centre back.

But then, as they say 'It's the hope that kills you!'

Not sure having Nketiah back will help up front?

I look at it that being targeted is exactly what he needs . His defensive play has been decent and his confidence will be enriched by it . Where Canvot lets himself down is in his decision making when he has the ball , he thinks he is a footballer he is not . He is a defender ,an anti footballer that stops footballers from playing .
But of course top defenders should be able to pass the ball to someone in the same kit as a minimum requirement ,I'm sure in time he will get the hang of that part of his game as will his team mates in giving him an easy option to do so .

That implies that Agents do not provoke interest and fake interest in their client.
 
No transfer movement is looking likely. At least we know what we have to work with. Gives the new manager more funds to build his own team in the summer. And players have to knuckle down and put themselves in the shop window if they want away in the summer/a place at the world Cup.
 
Just a guess but if we do sell JPM to Forest can Parish delay it so that it is in the window but too late for him to register to play against us?

NB You cannot have a clause that stops playing against your former club.
