The last time Britain got involved in Crimean conflict, it produced another magnificent historical military victory. I give you, Charge of the Light Brigade.
However, with our current leaders, I think it likely we call fall below that benchmark quite easily.
Poor old Captain Nolan got the blame....partly deserved....realised his mistake too late and tried to change course by accounts but was killed before he could do so.
It's a good example of how fecking stupid elites can be.....and especially how accountability can be avoided via omissions and half truths and narrative control.
A little known part of the story is that we reached the guns and killed an estimated fifty gunners with most of the others running off...but the Russian heavy cavarly came in and we were off....what could get away anyway....lost about 60 percent of the brigade and a higher percent of the horses. The brigade couldn't operate after that.
Apparently the charge rattled the Russians and made them more cautious, which helped us win Balaclava......Nevertheless it was a recognised disaster.
For Europe and the US....like Benz says....it's all the money they have invested into Ukraine....and I'm not talking war money....the whole thing is corrupt as sh1t and they are no better than the Russians.
