War in the Middle East

Ok but spell out in practical terms how that would be achieved.

The Royal Navy can blow all the small boats from the sea. Many on here would applaud that. Is that what you propose. A death sentence for all refugees?
If they are coming from Iran, then we can take them back. The tactic of modern politicians is to avoid responsibility by blaming unelected bodies.
The Navy would be very happy to police the channel and deliver boat people back to where they belong. After all, under Kier Starmer, they would otherwise be stuck in dock cleaning the deck with toothbrushes.

Who will take them?

And "I don't care" is not a good answer.

If we are delivering people back to their origin country, firstly the cost would be terrifying. Secondly, if that nation is in conflict, you are asking the navy to sail into risky waters. Thirdly, if that nation sends out boats to stop the return, are you suggesting the RN engages.

If we are delivering them back to France, they have made it clear they will not take them. France have a very capable military.

If France doesn't take refugees, it begs the question how did they get into France in the first place?
By your rationale, France should have returned them to Italy, Spain, Germany, etc (and bombed those countries if they refused).

Barrel scraping.

More expensive than keeping them here? Doubtful.

No one would enter a war zone and no one would be directly arriving from a war zone.

They would not be delivered to France.

Who do you think he meant? And where did he say he "served" them?

Sounds like a GCSE exam paper. I don't recall registering for one.

What do you think he meant?
Why do you think he prefers making decisions behind closed doors with international big-wigs, rather than in his own democratic parliament and on public record?
Do you think that suggests a certain disregard for his own electorate?
Do you think Davos operates on behalf of ordinary working class citizens, or on behalf a multinational corporations? Which do you prefer?

Why is it barrel scraping? That does not make any sense. Especially as you then addressed two points.

And you only address concerns. You are yet to say how you would achieve the return.

You shove them in a Navy ship and take them back. We should have a third country temporary or permanent base for illegals from which they can be processed.

It's an obvious solution that would mean no hotels used, no military bases used, and a lot less rapists or stabbers.

Oh the irony.
Says the one who addresses zero issues, and offers zero solutions.

But somehow feels entitled to interrogate and quiz others like they're a wannabee Emily Mathis.

I interpret his comments as supporting collective decisions made by coalition of world leaders, not pandering to multi nationals.

A PM has the mandate to make those deals as have those elected leaders with whom he negotiates.

Any deal must then be endorsed by the respective country's government.

Sorry, once again, who are these "masters" you refer to?

That is the point. I don't have an easy solution. But then again, neither does Hrolf. Or you. The point is you get very angry but offer nothing.

I have given you a solution. The problem is that people like you only see reasons not to do things while people like me do the opposite.

I have a solution.
A holding, processing area.
Perhaps like Rwanda or similar.
Rwanda is one of the most thriving countries in Africa, I'd like to visit it myself, before anyone suggests it is an inhumane idea.

Now tell us your solution.
