We have to have a decent home performance sometime. Putting my neck on the block and predicting a good win by two goals.

You’d really hope we could get a win. Home form would suggest we miss some good chances and concede a couple of soft goals to lose 0-2. I’m a bit more optimistic and going for a 1-1 draw

I foresee a difficult game.
Villa are a team designed to hit the opposition with counterattacks having very strong runners in Watkins, Rogers, Rashford, Ramsey , Bailey and Malen.
These are all capable of carrying the ball 30- 40 yards in the gaps that we leave when pushing forward.

This has been our Achilles Heel this season when our centre backs have been pulled wide to cover our wing backs leaving spaces for the opposing forwards to exploit.

Villa do have injuries in defence though.

I'm going for 1-1.

As above, it is about as hard a game you can get. Villa are an impressive team and a point would be a good outcome for me.

I think both Glasner and the squad realise they owe the home fans a result. Villa are not dull Everton or unambitious away from home Newcastle. They will probably try to open us up. That will make them more open to play against.
We have to start winning at home some time. Why not this one?
