I’m sure I heard a stat that this season if we score first we rarely lose. If true then pray for the first goal. Get the ball to JPM and let him do his magic
I can see what you did there...clever!A learned gentleman versed in such matters opined that an away victory was the most likely outcome , but that we may just be able to scrape an honorable draw. He continued that if neither outcome came to fruition then it would undoubtedly be a home win, a view with which I vehemently concur.
I think we will have wet chips
What they said about Brentford.Feel a draw - possibly 2-2. Villa poor away but have a strong attack and defensive issues. We are poor at home struggle to score and in the attempts to do so leave gaps at the back.
Will be interested to see what team Glasner picks. It is rare where he have a strong set of players available who could come in and replace players without any noticeable weakening of the team i.e. Wharton, Kamada ( don't shoot me down ) & Chilwell. Nketiah and Esse are other options as is Devenny. The back 3 and Henderson i would leave alone and Munoz you can't leave out. Same with Mateta. On flip side it was such solid performance against Fulham you would not really want to drop anyone from that game.
We are not alone in this, the whole of the EPL is suffering the same, the bbc has done a quick report on this . . .Feel a draw - possibly 2-2. Villa poor away but have a strong attack and defensive issues. We are poor at home struggle to score and in the attempts to do so leave gaps at the back.

Wish we had another few days to bask in the win at the weekend.
I'm sure we will all be miserable tomorrow morning 🤣
Or, it was all Mitchells fault & Kamada is useless etc etc.Same. The miserable contingent will wast no time in starting another Glasner out thread.
They were kind of playing in their flip flops though weren't they? I dont think anyone really took that result seriously in terms of BOTH teams trying.Last time I was at Selhurst for this fixture we smashed them 0-5 but it could have been 6 or more. Haven’t been as much as I’d like this season so hopefully I can bring good luck
