Of course she was protesting, then trying to drive away from aggressive behaviour. Both of which were entirely within her rights to do. There was no obstruction. The guy touched the car. Not the other way. That he then slipped was his fault. That he then decided to use his gun to kill was totally unacceptable.

Trying to defend the indefensible does you no credit at all. It just makes you look ridiculous.
