Interestingly there hasn’t been any discussion here of the “No Kings” protests that saw 7 million people peacefully protest Trump’s move to authoritarianism across the length and breadth of the USA yesterday. The biggest protests ever seen in the USA. Protests that the Trump regime attempted to categorise as by anti American, Hamas loving, radical far leftists who were paid actors. Seriously, that’s what was claimed. That’s an awful lot of paid actors.
They were praised by the police for their order, lack of violence or arrests. These were ordinary people exercising their rights.
Trump, of course, posted shite about this on his personal platform. This time literally with an AI generated video. Remember, this is posted by the President of the USA:-
If that’s the worst incident that a Trump supporter can find by any one of the 7 million protesters then it is extremely powerful evidence of just how peaceful, dignified and well organised these protests were.
7 million! yeah, right. If that’s the worst incident that a Trump supporter can find by any one of the 7 million protesters then it is extremely powerful evidence of just how peaceful, dignified and well organised these protests were.
Trump trying to suggest that they “don’t represent America” etc etc make him look even more ridiculous than normal. Which is probably his greatest real achievement in recent weeks.
It is so easy to confuse rhetoric and bullets on the planet Jupiter.
Another video from the "peaceful" event in Chicago.
Is there any actual evidence that was from one of the protests let alone involving a Democrat?
Yes very dignified. Showing kids what real peace is about.....
Who is the current front running poster boy for the Democrats?
Nope, me neither.
Domestically, it doesn't matter if you despise their policies. I won't agree with many of them. But a healthy democracy requires effective opposition. Absent that - and we are currently absent that - opposition comes from informal forms i.e., the fast track to disorder with civil war being one of many possible outcomes.
Globally, our world order requires a stable and prosperous USA. Again, you may despair at many features of the current order. However, the unstable alternative will be considerably worse. And please don't argue about that alternative cleaning out the stables etc. Steady evolution, yes. WWIII, no.
Gavin Newsom is that person, who though has quite enough on his hands at the moment, courtesy of the White House.Who is the current front running poster boy for the Democrats?

Economically stable definitely.Who is the current front running poster boy for the Democrats?

Id be surprised if they were rattled. Is there any actual evidence that was from one of the protests let alone involving a Democrat?
Or are you making assumptions? Try looking at the verified footage. All peaceful and well ordered. I have little doubt that there could have been isolated incidents involving people who went too far. Any group will contain some like that, but the overwhelming impression was of people wishing to express their opposition to Trump in a way which showed how wrong he is.
That the Trump loyalists react by trying to discredit that in this way just points up how rattled they are. It won’t convince anyone, except themselves.

In fairness, nothing is ever my fault either. You're a political loser Wisbech.
Your politics isn't only economically disastrous it also advances civil war in every society it focuses on....except perhaps Israel.
You are quite the stereotype.
You are that type who sh1t stirs and then when bad stuff happens holds his hands up and pretends there's it's nothing to do with him.
Id be surprised if they were rattled.
None of the protesters are lost votes for Trump.
Instead, the demos act as effective methods to galvanize his base. Just look at the reaction on here; and these people don't have the vote!
Far more effective would be a charismatic JFK type with expert use of social media to counter Trumpism.
The USA is like here. Of those who vote, one third Republican; one third Democrat; one third floating. The latter are looking for any excuse to jump ship from Trump, but right now all they see is a leap from a dilapidated rust bucket to a leaking, makeshift raft. At least what they are currently on floats.
In fairness, nothing is ever my fault either.
