Do you not see the irony of the right trying to get people “cancelled”, or fired, for holding opinions they don’t like? They are the ones who have got so wound up about “cancel culture” and the alleged erosion of free speech!
Anyone who makes remarks intended to incite division or cause actual harm deserve to lose their job. However many are being targeted just for holding another opinion. Like this is!
Jimmy Kimmel has lost his show after pressure from the authorities. He sent condolences to Charlie Kirk’s family and has spoken about the evil of division in society. He also mocks Trump and lays a lot of the blame at his door. Trump doesn’t tolerate criticism, has called for his sacking and posted celebratory comments last night. Whilst here! That’s sick!
I didn’t say that Patel represents the views of the FBI as a group. I said, and maintain, that he is allowing his partisanship to interfere in his job, thus making the FBI approach politically compromised.
I don’t have a mate called Bob. Nor do I have the slightest interest in the political views of any pop singer, especially the current ones who I know little to nothing about other than some headlines.
Of course any individual IDF pilot following orders and doing their duty doesn’t represent the IDF. Nor do the commanders, some of whom are critical. It’s their political masters who hold the responsibility.
