Again, as typical with most of the left on here, you completely ignore the actual contents of the post and just make some meaningless whine about the poster.

I know that this is what you want, so I'll say that I think that in fact you are the one who has supported the extremists.

I grew up in the 80s, socially the majority in the country were at ease with themselves.

It's the people you support....or policies at least, who created the social discord and economic mess the country is in.

This coming from someone who routinely responds with personal comments and insults is risible.

If you think the people you describe as “left” aren’t really socialists but some kind of weird group holding attitudes you disagree with then I suggest you find a more accurate label.

Being of the left means, to everyone else, holding socialist values. If you want to be understood you need to speak the same language as the listener. Gobbledegook doesn’t cut it!

You are literally the guy who can't get over Donald Trump who's been around politcally since 2015.

You're the boomer who's living in the past who can't live in the present....complaining about others.

My long held opposition to Trump has been frequently ridiculed on here. There was never a need to “get over him”. There was always a need to expose and get rid of him.

If you really cannot now see the truth of that then you can only be in wilful denial.

I very much live for the future. What’s past can only serve as lessons. It’s not us that has changed. The whole world has changed and we have no choice but to accept that fact and do our best to adapt. Those who think they can isolate themselves fool nobody but themselves.

Of course it brings us problems that create difficulties. People like you being one of them.
