How you people twist yourself in knots to justify your TDS.

The Iranian hierarchy is a bunch of ruthless criminals with crazy ideological beliefs and a stated aim of destroying the West. You can't negotiate with crazy. If they achieved nuclear capability, the consequences could be catastrophic.

This was a war that was always going to happen.

One day you will have to acknowledge that the only people with delusion over Trump are people like you. I am about to post a very recent interview with Jeffrey Sachs, which could as well belong here as in the thread on the Iranian war. Do watch it. It’s hard hitting and direct to the point of being brutal, but it’s also bang on accurate.

The last ‘Islamic’ attack in UK was 2020 at London Bridge, with the most serious being the 7/7/2005, which of course was inspired by the 2003 Iraq invasion. This led to ISIS and several later attacks in the UK. History certainly indicates that the current action by the Narcissist sociopath leading the US government will lead to the UK becoming the target of future terrorist attacks although hopefully by staying completely out of the current carnage this can be minimised. Although to put the attacks into context if you add up the victims of terrorist attacks in the UK it will be far less than the murders committed by Shipman, West, Neilson and the Yorkshire Ripper, although of course any murder on UK soil is tragic.

I have no doubt when the truth eventually comes out this will be another WMD hoax whereby there was no actual evidence that Iran posed any imminent danger to the US or the world and certainly significantly less than Russia.

Trump indicates that the US will cut off all trade with Spain.

I was referring to this earlier in the thread about taking a pragmatic position on the war.....a war that I don't agree with.

Spain seems to be led by people with a student level understanding of real world politics and I wonder what this will do for them....as a black listing like this in practice extends more beyond just trade with the US.

Progressives are just emotional children who....if you put them in charge of anything....will just make emotional decisions and worsen everything.
