What has that got to do with this event, beyond demonstrating how foolish it is not to take the people with you when you seek to introduce radical new policies

I thought some on here were against unlawful protests, which could have potentially turned violent

The insults that people are either insincere or being paid to protest is obviously nonsense. People care that democracy is being mugged. That some misbehave doesn’t undermine that. Just classifying them all as leftist or communist is very ignorant and a big mistake.

You want talk about officers trying to do their jobs being attacked? Look at what happened on Jan 6 at the Capitol and who Trump pardoned!

I see them trying to do a job but being constantly abused and harassed to the point that they have to sometimes use lethal force, as per the rules which they've always had.

Why can't these people protest in without violence?
