To be a bit glib after reading Youtube comments, the ICE officer was amazingly quick on the draw. Top cowboy movie stuff for a guy caught by surprise and seemingly off-balance.

And: "The big question that all the comments have avoided. Is the dog ok ?"

The video clearly shows them harassing the Ice agents, using their car to block them and impede their work.....These are legal enforcement officers.....What they were doing was illegal.

When the time came for an apparent arrest, when we can clearly hear the Ice agent tell the driver to exit the car, she drives off into the path of the Ice agent....He moved quickly but it also seems that she clipped him.

Probably not panicked but incredibly stupid.....I doubt she was aiming for him....But we will never know.

She put an Ice agent's life in danger and tragically lost her own as a result. In a gun culture like the US, this unfortunate outcome is always a possibility.

How does anything that happened warrant her needing to be shot in the head 3 times to resolve the situation?

All the agent’s video does is support the case that this was a completely unnecessary extra judicial murder. How anyone thinks it does anything other than that is genuinely insane.

At what point in the video can you actually see it hitting him, Owen? Can you see the car hitting him in all the other videos that come out?

This video changes absolutely nothing. In fact, it just supports the case for murder.

Why are you so desperate to try and defend it? This isn’t about politics.

It wasn't a case of 'warranting' it, from the video we see that it's a reaction to being attacked.

As someone who has done security work I can clearly see you haven't. When someone is involved in flight/fight situations then they involve maximum violence within a few seconds. This isn't an incident where she was shot five seconds apart, it happened all within a couple of seconds....if that.

I disagree, it's an unfortunate incident that will statistically happen when you have armed enforcement and ideologically activist protestors clashing. Enforcement officers have a right to defend themselves.

I'm sorry Dan, but once that car was driven at an agent, she existed within the range of aggressive response.

You obviously believe that this Ice officer was going to shoot her regardless, whereas I think if she had followed the law and got out of her car instead of driving it at one of them, she would be alive.

Some of these protestors are stupid enough to get themselves killed.

The agent was reported to be transported to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries. I don't believe it was major.

The video clearly shows him having to move quickly to avoid being ran over, I believe there was contact with the car, I remember hearing something audible on the video before the shots.
 
I can't understand why they are even there. But of course, angry liberal LGBTQ couple, it's their hobby and they are immune. Members of an anti ICE group, it's just what normal people do in life, go out and harass armed cops from doing their job.

Indeed to say them being blocked was none of their business is just flat out wrong.

It's a fact that Ice agents (as federal law enforcement officers) have the legal authority to arrest individuals who are forcibly impeding, interfering with, resisting, or obstructing their official duties.

This idea that they have to wait around for specific role officers to do something that the law allows them to do themselves is wholly ridiculous.

When told to exit her car she chose to flee and the video clearly show the officer having to take evasive action......The left can make as big a deal as they like, but this is going nowhere.

Baloney! Law enforcement officers ( which they are) would have the power to get the car to move. To say it was none of their business is ridiculous. She was blocking the road, it would seem, to prevent law enforcement officers from performing their duty, which in its self is a criminal act, so not an irrelevance.

Look at them enjoying the freedom of being rude annoying people. They absolutely love this, and yeah, she drove with the intent with what she thought was enough to cause harm without killing the guy.

These people executed a plan that they'd done many times before. Harrass, disturb and annoy but when it came to the arrest part violently driving off. They will have done similar before, the "wife" even admits it with her cocky faux-man-but-annoying-karen-type-lesbian rudeness. But this time she was caught out by the armed officers.

I think this is terrible, but she put herself into that position, and it's a classic case of FAFO

I will admit the goading is very annoying.

People who would crumble in a physical altercation hiding behind what they consider legal protections all while hurling insults and impeding legal work. Yeah, they would piss me off any sensible person.

These people are the pits......but if they follow the law no harm will come to them.

That driver didn't and it's a tragic outcome.
