US Politics

Mr Icke is no fan of Trump but that doesn't mean he would've voted for Harris!

I saw this notion being toted around for a while before the election. Narrative goes that Biden, by way of revenge for the coup against him, openly came out for Harris by way of screwing the Democrat Party as they could not then refute her. The people behind pushing Biden out never really wanted her to be the candidate.

Along with other claims around Biden deliberately looking to undermine her success from the whole MAGA hat incident, to his calling Trump supporters 'Garbage' and even his wife wearing a bright red dress when they went to cast their votes.

There is definitely some credibility to this especially now the spin is all about blaming Biden.
However other democrats have said it's Pelosi who is to blame, she ousted Biden and should take responsibility for her own actions.

Meanwhile Bernie Sanders has said that the Democrats will not learn from this defeat A quite damming statement but probably correct.

So far all the noises I have heard can be summed up as:

- It's Biden's fault
- It's Trump (it's always Trump with the democrats)
- It's the voters not understanding democrat policies.

However as Sanders says, they are not listening to the average working class American. They only have to look at their internal polls to see what the voters care about.

Anyway popcorn time whilst they meltdown and blame everyone but themselves.

Indeed, just like all of our politicians, they are ignoring what the vast majority think of immigration in particular. Give it a year or two and the UK and Ireland will be the outliers whilst most other Western democracies will turn to the more anti-immigration parties. Not in our news, but Germany's coalition has failed and they are going to have to stretch the law to keep the Afd out. Elections coming.

The biggest reason Donald Trump is back in the White House.

You can tell the majority of Democrat supporters are doing ok financially because they just seem out of touch with the day to day realities for the majority of people. They over obsess on luxury beliefs (none of which I agree with but regardless) while what should be their obsession is the economy first, second and immigration third.

I'll be nice and say that the financial implications of the covid response meant that whoever won the 2020 election was going to find it harder winning in 2024......You can't print that much money and allow inflation to ride higher than wages for that long....Not if you want to get reelected you can't.

I have to say the Democrats made it very very difficult for themselves.....there seem to be very few sensible Democrats about.

Would 😉😄

That apple can’t be 7 dollars, even it’s as big as one of her mangos, not even in a farm shop. Even a pink lady is 60p in most supermarkets.

Well to add slightly to that story realising I had forgotten to pick up some spuds from my weekly shop I bought three loose spuds on my way home yesterday & they cost $ 2.85 or 95 cents each or roughly 75p a potato. 4 years ago they cost a quarter of that as did other everyday items like rice, butter, bread & milk. Of course this matters not as we're all more concerned about having tampons in blokes khazis

What the hell is going on over there? I
Even at a small convenience store 75p is too much. Why is bread, butter and milk 4 times more than 4 years ago?

Is it because of Brexit lol?

John Wayne would be proud.

‘Campuses have essentially been turned into huge, open-air therapy sessions. At Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy in Washington, DC, a ‘self-care suite’ was opened for students. This offered them Lego to play with, crayons for colouring and milk and cookies ‘in recognition of these stressful times’. 😂😄🤦‍♂️🤔😲🥴🙄🤭

‘What is there to say, other than ‘get a grip’? If America’s liberal leftists struggle to get through an election that doesn’t go their way without recourse to an emotional-support duck, no wonder so many of their fellow Americans do not trust them to rule.’ 👍🏻😆😆😆😆
Why Trump won

One of the things about the UK is I reckon we are probably better off than most when it comes to food pricing increases. Yes, things have gone up but when you hear/experience what has happened in other nations then perhaps we have gotten off lighter than most (and Brexit may well have played a role in that for a whole host of factors to boring and off subject to going into on here). Spent a fair amount of time down in Croatia this year and the increase in pricing over there is simply staggering (with a lot of that put down to them adopting the Euro). And when you realise that olives are cheaper to buy in a UK supermarket compared to a Croatian one, then you know something is not right.

Can you give a brief reason (not a long lecture like on the other thread)

Didn’t New Zealand lamb used to cost more in New Zealand than in Britain?

I have been in little or no internet zone for past week so have not read the post election result reactions on here.

What is ROTFLMAO funny is the dems inquest, Pelosi blaming Biden, MSM blaimg misogyny, racism blah blah.

None have mentioned they had a rubbish candidate with no new policies and people care about cost of living, immigration, crime, net zero cost, men in womens sports etc etc.

Now Trump can be judged on what he does rather then who he is.

The world needs the US to improve economically.

This is a good video to watch if you want to observe the pre election sheer delusion of Democrat supporters....who no doubt were believing what their media was telling them.

Now, those of them who thought it would be close were being realistic.....even though the end result wasn't close....but it at least showed being at touch somewhat with reality........but that's not what you are going to see here. This video demonstrates the widely held opinion that Harris was going to win big from declared analysts as well as supporters.

It just goes to show you who the realistic people are in the world and who aren't.

where are all the election was rigged posts - dead people voting, multiple people registering form the same address etc?

Even Trump told us on election day there was loads of fraud happening.

Now not a mention. Seems strange to me.
