The left want a Police force that kneels like them.....unless it's something right wing, which they want prosecuted and are happy with any excuse most of the time.
I haven't looked into this story but I imagine this is about weeding out any of the Police who still have testosterone within them that isn't purely directed for the benefit of leftist ideology..
Back when I was a lad the Police weren't woke......it took Tory governments bending the knee to start the woke process, then Blair and Brown really finished the job by making all the Police management social liberals and and pushing through the Macpherson Report reforms that really damaged the force. The Tories response to it was weak which reflected the social liberals that they are.
People who would have joined the force to become coppers saw that that it's now politicised and loves rainbow flags and DEI ideology. It warmly embraced the hate crimes madness and many people were arrested out of this damaging ideology and are on lists....like me.
The police are an institution that shouldn't be left or right but just old fashioned crime focused. But the cultural victory of the left that's been apparent these last fifty years has slowly turned our Police into a parody that is ridiculed over parts of the world.
These are sad times, but there is a fightback, because all this was done without ever asking the actual population.....who were never majority woke, but had it forced onto them.
