Lincoln Red Imps of Gibraltar just guaranteed they will play in the CL league phase after beating Noah of Armenia on penalties in the Europa League, so even if/when they get beat by Braga/Cluj in the EL playoff they'll drop to the Conference League. They will really want a game at Selhurst Park as there's a lot of Gibraltar diaspora in the UK and they'll get tickets. Going to the Algarve, not so much.

Plus for Palace, easy 3 points.

Just seen on Facebook some wag has posted something like 'unlike Barcelona, Madrid, Paris and Rome, there's some right godforsaken sheet holes you have to visit when following your team in the conference league. As fans will find out when they have to go to Croydon'

funnily enough that's what Benfica means in Italian, fica is fig which is one of their words for the front bottom. San Marino, Gibraltar, Liechenstein, the Pharoes, Azerbajan, places where the national past time isn't football, it's getting restless, I've never been to Grand Fenwick but their away fans are quite notorious apparently. The draw will be one of the few times we actually want to avoid the minnows. 😕
 
Qualifying round : Dundee United beaten by Rapid Vienna on penalties last night. I think this competition will be quite tough.
With Dundee gone, at least for the moment there's a prospect of a lovely trip to Vienna. . Maybe.

I have friends in both Dublin & Malta that I have been procrastinating over visiting for some time now - (quite frankly its so long its pretty near embarrassing) so if it works out that we are playing anyone in either location I will really make the effort to piece a trip together & see the match at the same time.

Any idea how many will be available. Am a Gold member but don't want to book flights now if there's a very limited supply!

I can see this being an on going problem as we get closer to matches in Europe . by the time the opposition and then ,especially then when palace have released the tickets for sale the flights are going to be £500 .
As soon as the draw is made wouldn't it be beyond the wit of man to sort out the tickets for all the games in the league phase so we can have a fair crack at getting tickets and sorting out travel arrangements
